I would be careful.
I do not believe that the Disney card is transferable

Another e-bayer mentioned this here last night. My question was and still is "Aren't names imprinted on the DC card like they were on the last year of the Magic Kingdom Club Cards?"

Apparently, this McDonalds card is a corporate card and only says "McDonalds Crew". Since McDonalds is a "friends of disney" corporate sponsor, they get this card for working there. I just saw one of these at our store the other day and wondered why it said CREW instead of family. this is why i guess. It would be impossible to tell if it's been bought on Ebay. It's things like this that will ruin it for others who legitimately pay for their cards. donna

I thought the idea of disbanding MKC and starting Disney Club was to eliminate corporate cards. Now they are starting it again. So McDonald's employees get these free?

One thing that makes me mad is that DVC members get no discount on park hoppers or AP's after pouring thousands of dollars into Disney. I had to pay for my Disney Club Card.

I just recently changed jobs, I was working in a local McDonalds corporate office. We had control of 15 stores, paying their bills, payroll, insurance etc...and I do have a Disney Club Card that says McDonalds Family Corporate Card or something like that and yes it was free. I no longer work for the company and you are all right I am still using the card and will continue to do so until the 2 years is over but I do see how that could be very unethical for a place like ebay. I do know that I will definatly buy one when this one expires, but I also know that my DH's job did have free Magic Kingdom Cards and that they do not offer Disney Club so maybe it is limited, I know that at McDonalds we also had special prices for Hoppers that were a good bit cheaper than regular price even with the DCC.....We have APs so didn't need those but for people who work for McDonalds it is a great deal

I wish when Disney made up their minds to do soemthing they would at least stick to it for awhile and/or remain consistent.

Disney is consistant. MCDonalds is a huge sponser and "friend". They give many perks to companies such as this.
We also do not know that McDonalds does not buy these as a perk to their employees.

McDonalds IS a huge corporate sponsor; this is not like the corporations that handed them out to everyone and their brother. Any huge corporate sponsor will probably get this card free - American Express, McDonalds - immediately come to mind. This is not to be confused with the old MKC cards that paid nothing to disney for those cards.
Any "friends of disney" sponsor would be included on this. I know last year, at the disney store, McDonalds employees, for a certain weekend, were given OUR 20% discount. We were supposed to receive a reciprocal discount there too, but never did.
