That is so sad :( I keep thinking about his wife, Nancy. What a love story those two had. The book I Love You, Ronnie: The Letters of Ronald Reagan to Nancy Reagan is SO touching and sweet.

It is hard to imagine that the man was president when I was born.
His wife seems like such a sweet sweet lady.

It is so sad one of his closest friends was Margaret Thatcher and for the past 10 years when she went to give speeches she carred a black dress with her in case she had to drop everything and go to his funeral. Now she is too ill herself to make it :(

He did have Alzheimer's. This disease makes you lose your memory, and interests, so people with alzheimer's get sicker easier. Alzheimer's is a very hard thing for family members to deal with because it changes the whole person (mentally I mean....). My great-grandmother has Alzheimer's.

God bless Reagan and his family.

Yes I know:sad1: I have to do a presentation about him tommarow. I found a lot of good information. Did you know he was an actress and performed in over 53 motion pictures. When he was young he was an lifeguard and saved over 77 people from drowning. He was a wonderful person. Let him rest in peace.

I was listening to the news and they said when you are president you have to write out everything you want done on your funeral incase you were to be killed or died and he wrote a 300 page funeral request on what he wanted done. the whole thing started when Rooservelt was president and he just wrote a brief thing and here Regan wrote a 300 page thing i thought that was kinda funny.

daughter_of_amid_chaos i know what you mean he was president when i was born too.

GOD BLESS HIS FAMILY AND GOD REST HIS SOUL!!!!!

Yeah I heard that the presidents have to write their funeral arrangements the day after inaugaration (sp?). If you ask me, Reagan deserved the funeral that he got.
