I am trying to decide where to eat our first dinner when we get into WDW. We are staying at the Yacht Club and have narrowed it down to Flying Fish and Spoodles.
Which would you choose? Thanks! :sunny:

Weike Spoodles, but for breakfast only. Flying Fish is always a must do for dinner on each trip.

FF is one of our favorite restaurant at WDW. Great seafood, a good wine list and a nice ambience. You will likely get a better meal at Flying Fish than you would at Spoodles. However, FF is more expensive, if this is an issue.

We have had breakfast and several dinners at Spoodles. We much prefer FF.

Both are great restaurants. It would depend on what I wanted to eat. I think there is more variety and the menu is a little larger at Spoodles. They have a nice selection of Tapas, flatbreads, pasta, etc. If you want excellent seafood then I'd suggest Flying Fish.

Flying Fish, definately. Besides the great seafood, they have one of the best steaks on disney property.

We perfer Spoodle's.
It is on a very short list of places we ~have~ to eat at every trip. We love breakfast and dinner. I think the dinner menu is more varied than FF. The flatbread at Spoodle's is heaven on a plate!:D

We dined at both during our 11 day honeymoon May 10 - May 20th. We loved Flying Fish and our server Bob was wonderful with suggestions! We were not equally as enamored with Spoodles. It wasn't bad, just didn't hold a candle to FF. Check my dining reviews if you are interested, I reviewed both (11 Day Gold Plan Dining Review).

I'm so glad that someone posted this question. My DH and I were looking at both restaurants. We suspected that Flying Fish was the more desirable of the 2 places. We are interested in Spoodles tapas mentality. Thanks for the information.
