Hello all,

It's been a long time since I've popped in here. We'll I'm back and I hope to stay for a long time. Since I was here last I have gained another 10 lbs. and weigh more than I ever have. I almost weigh as much as I did while pregnant with my second. Enough is enough! I've had it! I'm sick of being fat, I'm sick of being tired all the time, I'm sick of not fitting into my clothes, I'm sick of not being able to get up off the floor quickly when I'm playing with my son...I could go on all day. One good thing I can say is I've been going to Curves again. It feels great but I need faster results. Soooo, I'm starting The South Beach diet tomorrow. I've done all the research, joined the online group, have a grocery list and a meal plan for the next week, and I'm ready to lose some weight. Even better, this time around my DH is going to participate! I'll try to keep up with everyone and post a new thread or two.

Welcome back.
I really like the South Beach diet, I find that it easy to stay on plan. It is nice that your DH is joining you, it does make it easier when someone in the family is following the same plan.

DH and I are doing Atkins and it REALLY helps that we both are doing it - Good Luck and pop into the Wish boards to stay motivated!:D

Welcome back, Mary. South Beach is great - I dropped 40 pounds since Jan 05. I put a few back on while at a convention last week (Waaaayyy too much beer), but it is coming off again. My wife has dropped close to 50 pounds on South Beach in the same time frame.

Join the rest of the "Beachgoers" in the South Beach Dieters...Unite thread. Lots of good info and inspiration there.
