From pictures and artist renderings it appears as if you can actually walk underneath the big hat.
Does anyone have any info to this ??? Will they place the big "100" under it then remove it after the celebration?
Anyone have any more infor on the Chinese Theatre? It just seems there was so little room between the two. Maybe it was just that the fence around it takes up so much space.
Any news on the water tower??

I think there's going to be some pin trading stand under the hat. It will be permanant, so I guess they will remove the logo when the celebrations over. The fence does take up a lot of space and there should be more when it's taken down.

Just got back from Disney... can give you an update on the hat. It's huge! It looks like it's going to be a stage for some kind of performance (just my opinion). I think we have a snapshot of it, but our film isn't developed yet.

Just back from WDW. The Sorcerer's hat is immense: like one of the gigantic balloons in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York. It is so huge that it totally obscures the facade of the Chinese theater from anyplace except directly in front of it.
It actually looks very cool.
They are in the process of putting the Mickey Ears on it at the moment.
It is quite high off the ground, so there's lots of room beneath it for any number of things.
