Today we got two (2) GWP Mickey Sorcerer, but no purchased pin which was Dopey Memorial Day 2004...oh well, someone was not paying attention when they put my pins in the box.
I only had two (2) orders total, so now I have one Mickey & Minnie GWP and two Mickey Sorcerer GWP. DA told me to donate my extra GWP pin to charity.

(ironically, they send me the wrong shirt
twice about 6 months ago... they had their
item numbers and photos mixed up online
- note - they haven't changed the item
numbers OR the photos, so EVERYONE
is STILL getting the wrong shirt! -
however, atleast donating a shirt to charity
made some sense! But a pin is kind of ridiculous!)

I have gotten a Lilo and Stitch, a Mickey and Minnie and a Marie.

I have several boxes yet to come. I would really like to have a Pluto and an Ariel, but hey, I got a Lilo and Stitch so I am ~not~ complaining! But of course, the Lilo and Stitch is in my daughter's pin book!

There is a charity that allows kids to go to WDW and with donations of pins and lanyards, they can pin trade too. I helped collect pins and lanyards so that 13 kids got a chance to do some trading at WDW. Check out my sig for more details. If you click on the link to Bert's Big Adventure, you will see that many of the kids are wearing their lanyards. Maggie

DA = Disney Auctions ---they are a segment of e-bay where you can buy LE pins directly from Disney, even when you are geographically challenged.

I just checked out for yesterday's pins, and the code worked fine for me.

....or until the GWP pin supply is exhausted. But I don't see how the checkout function would know when it happens, since I checked out four auctions and two were filled on one day and two others filled a few days later.

I believe you have to use the PINS2004 in caps in order for it to be accepted. I also had this problem.

Here is a question.. how are ya'll gonna trade these pins? I am already getting requests to trade one of my Stitch DA pins for one of these pins. How are they valued? I know that is an subjective question, but what is the thinking out there?

I think on something like this I'd go off of two things:
the edition size
and
how badly I wanted their pin!

as a general rule tho IMHO:
the lower editions... 250 and below I'd trade as if it were a
first fun DA pin... $18.00 value (because of the rarity... atleast
right now while they are HOT!)
the Maries and Goofy's I attempted to trade like they were 8.50
rack pins! But in one case, I did get a Pluto lanyard pin
for my Marie! :)

Ok so I buy this Pluto camera pin to put on my camera bag and this huge box arrives at my door. I open it and there are two pins in there. Immediately Trina starts yelling at me for buying two pins when in fact I knew I had only bought one and so I am trying to explain myself when I pull out this gigantic pin thing with Ariel on it. What the heck? I distinctly know that I didn't buy an Ariel thing since I only collect pins with pointy things on the back where the characters have feet. Sure, it couldn't be a Goofy, that would have been the cool thing. Instead my kids are now fighting over who gets the fish thing. Now I gotta go to disneyauctions.com and see if I can find something over there in hopes of getting a Goofy. I can see me and the couch are going to be quite close friends for a week. Fish, why did it have to be fish?
