My DD(who will turn 21 her first day in Britain) is about to embark on her one month study abroad program in York. Having been to the UK several times, DW and I are so happy for her, but DD is just a touch nervous about being so far from home for the first time. I tell her any fears will vanish when she sets foot on British soil(can you tell I'm a bit of an Anglophile?).
Any thoughts, suggestions, or PD for our DD would be appreciated.:earsboy:

York is beautifull. Is she staying in York or travelling around ?

Hello Micca
I live in York, work at a college (perhaps she is coming here?) and I have a daughter who is about to go to the States for a year! If your daughter thinks she might be a bit lost, I would be happy to meet her for a coffee and bring my daughters along for a chat. If we can help in any way, please let me know.
