Mel Kamazin has surprisingly left his job at Viacom.
Remember his name being thrown around about being an ME replacement?

This theory made it into The Boston Herald this morning, too.

Heard speculation about this Tuesday during Power Lunch on CNBC.

This morning on Fox News during the stock recommendations, Disney stock was recommended based on this possibility. That sounds pretty serious. They were speculating not until 2006 when ME's contract runs out.

Excellent! Maybe Howard Stern could broadcast on Disney Radio since he feels his days are numbered now that Mel has left.

Jim Hill gives some insight on this topic today.
Although, I think he cautions,
"Meet the new boss, same as the old boss."

Hey, Who,
What part of Bergen County are you from? I grew up in New Milford.

I'm not so sure about Mel being better than ME.
Do any of you know people who work for him?
My company deals with a lot of broadcast people, and never is there anything good to say about his management of the workforce... from things I've heard said, it sounds like he'd suck the Magic right out of the place for the castmembers.
Anyone else have any more direct insight? (mine is all 2nd or 3rd hand...).
