With these small releases, how many different people would you guess are really buying these pins?
I have no way of knowing.
But just some thoughts --
500 pins.
Some peope may buy one, or two. Some may be buying 10 - 25 between kids and long lost relatives perusing the area. ;)

How many different people would you guess are really buying the LE500 pins? 75?

With these releases, unless I just happen to be in the area and know about them (hasn't happened yet) or can drop everything and go chasing out, I have no chance of buying these pins.
Hence I don't plan on knocking myself out for them any longer.

It is funny you should say that. I was able to get the last dragon pin and while I was there I noticed 3 people who not only got in line 3 times (while I was there) but kept getting "bodys" of the Boardwalk to get more... While I was in ine one of them (A CM at that) bought 12 pins on one of 3 trips in.. So she got a few and then the next day at WDL they where doing the same thing. I didn't wait in line for that one as I thought it was ugly but I was asked to stay in line and buy them for someone else... I turned them down. Not once but twice (the first time he was joking)

So who is buying them... Well a lot of people.. Who is ending up with them... About 5 people with the most folowed by those that buy 5 or 6 (say 20 t o30) and then the collectors who only want 2... So you are right.. About 75 people in all would be my guess as well.

And the Dragon sold out in less than 4 hours... DVC was in town at full force and there are a lot of pin people in that group...

But as we made our purchases, and talked to Nat and a few other folks we knew, we saw one guy round up some "stooges" and head back in to buy pins three times. Each time he took three people with him, but the CM let him/them buy eight pins. And we know he had purchased some before we got there.
