I understand! However, on this relatively short trip with so much already planned out for us (Member Homecoming), we didn't have time to stop by The Art of Disney. We need another trip sooner than what is planned!

Yep, I always go into The Art of Disney! Ok, so I am friends with the manager.......:D

I usually buy all my WDCC pieces there.

As much as I'd like to no....I avoid it. It's not good for kids to see a grown man crying and whining.

I can't seem to leave without purchasing SOMETHING, either from the Art of Disney or the Annimation Gallery at MGM.

DH just gives me the  look whenever I want to go in.

I totally agree. I go in there and get a warm feeling in the pit of my stomach--and just get a rush of happiness. So I can't aford everything but I like to pretend it is all part of my personal collection housed in FL. The best is when you see the new piece that you fall in love with instantly. Of course at that point my DS is pulling my towards the exit.....

You know, not as much anymore. I remember the first time I went to WDW and they had a fancy desk for a professional office, and a dresser and chair, the Capodimonte sculptures that I always wanted. It was more than just art to hang on the wall or WDCC. I don't find as many super interesting things anymore. Some nice pieces, but not as many jaw dropping, "could you imagine owning that!" moments.

I am happy that there are some new cross-stitch kits in the last couple of years though.
