:earsgirl: FI and I will not be getting married until next year (October 2005).
Since we are paying for our own wedding it is very important for us to budget our Disney honeymoon. I was wondering those who booked through Disney travel, do they have a honeymoon registry so that relatives, etc. can contribute if they would like to your honeymoon cost?

Congrats on your forthcoming marriage - how exciting.

I don't believe that there is a facility for a honeymoon registry with Disney which is a shame but what you could do is ask your guests for Disney Dollars for your gifts.

We were not accustomed to being given money at a wedding but most of our American guests had hinted that this was their wish so we compromised with Disney Dollars and we had a fabulous honeymoon with all of their genorosity :D

I also have not heard about a registry through disney; however, i believe i read on here a while back about a honeymoon registry. Check out thehoneymoon.com (http://www.thehoneymoon.com/) I believe that is where the person registered. If you do a search you may be able to find the post, i believe it is going back 6 mos-1year or so. Anyways, you can register for plane tickets, park tickets, hotel stay, dinner, mini golf- anything really. but for the more expensive things ie plane tickets instead of asking for 2 at $250 you can ask for 10@$50- this is to make it more affordable for your guests but it will also let them know what there gift is going towards instead of just giving you cash...
