I want to carry my camera around WDW, but I also want to go on any ride with the camera. My camera is a bit too large for the micro sized cases: 3.9 x 3.2 x 3.2 in. I never wear a belt, so the cases designed to hang on your belt aren't an option.

Any suggestions on a case?

I have a Healthy Back Bag I got from LL Bean that I toss my camera (Canon G3) into ... it fits into one of the side pockets ... it also has room for all the other miscellanous junk I carry.

I'm a little worried about the water rides and my digital camera. What do people do with their cameras?

You could put the camera in a ziplock before going on a water ride. Handy for any rainstorm, too.

My HBB is made of a microfiber so water tends to roll off it, but I usually carry a ziplock bag to put my camera in.

On the Kali River Raft I put my HBB in the center hub and it stayed dry.

Sounds like good advice!

I am taking my North Face lumbar back (that is a cool way for saying fanny pack). I put my cameras, ponchos, snacks, etc. in it. I wear it in lines and hook it around our stroller when walking. Its nice because on some of the bigger rides like RnR I will tighten it around my ankles. It is very water resistant.

Warning on the cameras in ziplocks: Moisture can build inside and cause camera to malfunction.
