Thank you so very much for this touching tribute. My husband is leaving on the 14th for a year overseas. As I sit here with tears streaming down my face, it's nice to know that he's not forgotten.

I commend you Dan, I come to this site daily for my dose of the Mouse and for everything that is "GOOD". But this morning I am shocked into reality, and I am humbled! I am a 100% disabled Vietnam Veteran and at this moment I am trying to get my hair on my arms to calm down. All wars are tragic, but it is good to know that we have, dispite all our problems, a great country with unbelievable men and women to fight for what we think is right. This weekend think of all our veterans, but give a sharp SALUTE to our WW2 veterans who went away to war AND all that help at home. Thanks Dan, excellent job!!!:crazy:

My Dad (passed way last yr) would have been so proud to be a part of this World War 11 Memorial. Thanks to all our soldiers(past and present) and their families who sacrifice so much so we may be safe and remain free. May God hold them in the palm of his hand for a safe return. God Bless America - land that I love!!

This was beautiful, Dan. I thank you as a mother of two of Americas' Bravest. Sometimes they wonder if anyone cares what they do for this country. I know they will be glad to see that someone does.
