Hello,

I had read about this on another thread. It was said to be done at Beaches & Cream. So I called Disney Dine Reservations. The CM called B&C, they said they don't do it. BUT!

The Garden Grill restaurant at the land DOES! They do it for lunch & Dinner only and you have to request it. All the characters come and make a big deal, have a "Rehitching Ceremony" and present you with a certificate as well. You can also arrange to have a special cake made.

I've made ressies to do this on our anniversary July 28th for lunch. It will be a surprise for hubby.

If you're interested call 800 disneydine or the direct # for Garden grill is 1-407-560-6071.

I can't wait!!

Beaches and Cream has never done this to my knowledge. Whoever told you was probably a bit confused.

Actually I surprised the whole family; my kids were hysterical. It was a hoot! For us, it was day1, so a great way to kick things off in a very Disney-way. It really does depend on your server, though. Luckily we had a fabulous waiter who was SO enthusiastic!

OH boy, I made a PS for this for a week from Sunday, he he, I'm sure I'll be surprising DH for sure and DD won't know what's going on!!

Looking forward to it, I'll be sure to report about it (it's our 10 yr anniversary, actually tomorrow and we were supposed to be there then but dd got sick so we had to postpone our trip, but at least we were able to reschedule it!)

I surprised my DH with it two years ago and it was great! I loved being able to act like I had no idea why we were being made a spectacle of. LOL

I like that you get a free souvinir certificate to take home signed by Mickey! That alone was worth it. The free cake they give you is great too, only we were so full from our lunch we could only eat a sliver.

Great, sounds like lots of fun! I'm looking forward to it, I know dh will be really surprised (hopefully dd won't get too startled--too bad she's not old enough to take video!!)LOL!!
