We have only have one full day of adventure at IOA with teens and need a park strategy to most efficiently do what we need to do. Only rule is, there are no rules.
One other minor point. We are leaving our home today at noon (PST), so hurry! :bounce: :Pinkbounc
Thanks in advance (too busy to search!)

oooo a challange,,lol
you will do well, if you are able to purchase an express pass book, for each person in your party. This will ensure a fast wait for at least one ride each on the Hulk, Spiderman, Dueling Dragons, Jurassic Park, etc. If the teens hit those 4 rides, in addition to the water rides (Dudley DoRight's ripsaw, Popeye),, then you will have some very content teens.
Forgot to mention, the book front of the line passes, would be in addtion to the machine issued ones that you can get with your ticket,, but those machines run out fast. Best to use all the machine ones you can first, then you will have the book to fall back on. Hope this makes sense.
Best plan of all, would be if you could do one night at one of the three hotels on site, then everyone on the room list would be able to use their room card for FOTL. Then they could ride unlimited in the front of the line for their favorite rides.
If you only have the one day,, you don't want to have to spend it in long lines. :earseek:
EDIT,, just did a check on ressies at the RPR and if you have an AAA card, you can get a room there for $167.00 on May 27th.

Forgot to add,, start off by going to the left, where the Hulk is, and work your way around the park, going clockwise. That way Seusslanding will be last,, as it will have the least the teens will want to do. :)
Have a great trip!!

This is the same thing I am trying to do so my teens can have one day in US/IOA. I'm thinking about taking off a night at Disney to do this and staying at RPR so that my kids can have the FOTL for the rides. That's the only way it would work for us. I do have the Ent. card and AAA. I'm hoping this whirlwind plan will work out for us, too. Good luck with yours!

Since your time is limited, you might want to rely on fast food within the park. We liked both the food and theming of the Enchanted Oak Tavern.
Also, count on wanting to ride Spiderman more than once and plan accordingly.
Have fun!

Copied and pasted from rec.roller-coaster:
Arrive to the parking lot of USF at 07:45am.
Parking garage opens at 8am.
Walk to the gate of IOA, get your ticket if needed and get in line.
For IOA, the turnstiles to the left are used first.
At 08:45am, they let people in.
Run to Hulk, get a front seat ride, go again.
As you exit Hulk, get an express pass for noon.
Ride Spiderman, and Dr. Doom, they will be walkons.
Continue to Rip Saw Falls, 5 minute wait.
JPRA, Popeye. You'll be soaked, but dry off.
Deuling Dragons, 5 minute wait. You can even wait for the front if
you want.
Continue back to the front of the park.
Go on Dr. Doom and Spiderman using single rider lines. To use them,
go up the exit of the ride and you see them.
Use your express pass for Hulk.
