I've never been to US/IOA & never thought I would because I love Disney so much. However this coming trip we will have an extra day. At first I thought we would rest. Now it looks like we might go to US/IOA for 1 day. I don't do thrill rides. For example) I thought I would die on Space Mountain. I can do Dinosaur & Star Tours. I do Splash Mountain, but hate the end. I hold my breath & close my eyes. I don't do Tea Cups. What should I avoid at all costs at US/IOA?

Everything....Just kidding.

I would skip:

at IOA: Dueling Dragons
Dr. Doom's Fearfall
the Hulk

At US:

The Mummy

Other than that, I think you will be okay.

Not sure about spiderman, but I love it.

Everything is exactly the answer that I thought. That is the reason why I never wanted to go to US/IOA. How about the Jurassic Park ride. Is the drop worst than Splash Mountain?

Yes. The drop in JP is 30ft taller than Splash, plus it's also at a steeper angle...

It sounds like Universal Studios would be better for you than IOA. You appear to be OK with shows and simulators of which Universal has quite a few. It would be a shame to miss the Spiderman ride not to mention the great theming in IOA.

You could definitely enjoy US. Just don't go on the Mummy or Back to the future. You will love all the shows as well as Shrek, ET, Jaws, Twister, Earthquake, Terminator, Men in Black and Jimmy Neutron. Make sure you do the Horrow Make-Up show as well as the Ghostbuster show and Animal Planet show.
