I understand that the restaurant at POFQ is closed for renovations. Does anyone know when it will reopen?
TIA.

My understanding is that the restaurant closed when the two resorts merged. There are no current plans to repoen it, which is a shame.

Outside of the fancy food court, Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory, there is no sit-down restaurant. Bonfamille's Cafe closed in 2000. :(

I just stayed at POFQ and my biggest disappointment was the food. The food court is awful, and there is no sit-down restaurant. It is a very, very long walk to Riverside if one has young children.
There is the boat to Downtown Disney, which does have some decent restaurants. But it doesn't make up for the inability to get a decent meal onsite.
Still missing Bonfamilles here. No plans to ever open another restaurant when they merged the 2 sides to make one resort, they consider Boatwright's Dining Hall the "sit down" restaurant for Port Orleans (meaning both sides). I still, and will always, see these as two different resorts, with the French Quarters being the only moderate without a sit down restaurant, but yet the same price as the other 3 moderates.

Thanks for your replies. No kids on this trip. Just three wild and crazy women. :smooth:
Hear that Lewski? We can have dirty martinis and crab cakes for an appetizer, then walk them off when we go over to PO. :Pinkbounc
