I don't know if any of you have bought tickets from BestFares.com but my FIL just sent me an email with rates as low as $88 roundtrip to Orlando from major cities. I know from Columbus, OH they are $118. The tickets have to be purchased by 5/28 and I think the travel time is through Nov. Anyway I have not bought tickets yet but just wanted to share what I think are great rates or at least worth a look.

I received the same e-mail from bestfares. I believe you have to join in order to get those fares.. I hope someone who has used bestfares will reply.

Your credit card will be charged $59.90 for U.S. delivery or $79.90 USD for delivery within Canada. The charge will appear on your credit card statement as "BEST FARES."

There's the charge to join BestFares.com. For that price, I want MUCH lower fares than I saw on the site.

I have also read on other sites that many people were upset with this site because when they paid to join, they then learned that the offers were "sold out".

Sorry, I should have checked them out better we haven't decided whether to fly or drive so I didn't investigate the site further just thought I would post asap. Guess its not a good deal. It would be great to hear from someone who uses them.

No, thanks so much for sharing!!! I am not saying this site is all bad. It has been around for a very long time, and a lot of people have used it with great success!! My mom just gave me a "heads up" on what has been happening recently, as she travels frequently to Europe, and a lot of people have been complaining about it on Rick Steve's "grafitti wall".

I think Bestfares.com is a great site if you are doing a lot of traveling, or if you just don't mind paying the annual fee to see what is available as it comes up. I think with fuel prices getting so high, people are really having to scavenge for good deals, and they go quickly. I feel that is where a lot of the negative comments are coming from lately. I didn't mean to imply that Bestfares.com was not in any way reputable...it's just the way the market is going right now.

But, again...thanks for sharing!!!!
