Where can you get the tote bag?? *SPOILER*

I have read many of the posts over the last couple of months, and many people have talked about the wedding tote bags in the room after they got married. I received the watches at the reception, but never got any tote bag. How can I get one?

I think that the tote bag is given to the intimate wedding couples and the watch set is given to custom wedding couples. We only got the watch set.

Hi! I just had an intimate wedding and was given the watches but no tote bag. My best friend got married there last year and was also given the watches, no bag, for her intimate wedding.

I had my Honeymoon at Disney (not a wedding) and got a tote bag, but was promised a watch...Hmmmm. I ended up with two tote bags, one that says Disney Wrddings and one that says Disney Honeymoons because after our honeymoon I wrote a letter to the Disney people Asking why I didn't get a watch when it was promised on the website. (that's when they sent me another tote bag) Personally, I wish they would have given me a watch. :) But I am happy with the bag.

is there anything in the tote bag, or is it empty? the only reason i ask is because we're always looking for something to carry our smaller souvinears in on the way home.
also, i've never heard of the watches before? does anyone have a picture?

You can purchase one on the internet through disney merchandise. They can special order onefor you with your and your hubbie's names and wedding date. :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

The tote bag does come with some stuff, but it changes every year. I was told I was getting the tote bag and watches, but upon arrival, I had neither...I did end up getting the tote bag, but never got the watch. Apparently the CM that told me that was looking at the package that was for the year before....

I don't want to say what I got in mine in case yours is different. Plus, where is the fun in no surprise?? :)

i don't think its ruining surprises, and we'd be happy with anything. anything else that i get aside from my bride's hand is pure gravy on the weekend.
i do understand not saying what was inside, that's fine. again, we were just curious.

would you mind editing the title to your post to include that there is a "spoiler" for the FTW gift...several people have read the post not knowing that it contained info as to what the gift was and they are a tad upset they won't be suprised after reading the post.
personally it doesn't bother me as I am having a swan wedding but I just wanted to pass the message along!

I'm am not going to be thrilled about spending 15k on a wedding and getting a tote bag as a gift.

The tote bag isn't the surprise, as Disney already tells the intimates on thier website, that you are receiving one as a gift. But, the watches are! They do not mention it anywhere, or at any time during your planning.

My husband and I got married in an Intimate Ceremony in June 2002 and we received both the watches (the surprise is already ruined.....) and we received the Disney FTW tote bag with some great stuff in it. I'm glad we received both...it seems like most didn't.

My husband and I got married Sept 2003 and we also got both the watches and a blue FTW tote bag with a bunch of goodies in it, our tote bag was actually delivered to our room right after we checked in, and we received the watches at the reception.

I wonder why it isn't consistant with everyone???? Bummer huh!!

Why don't you both get in touch with your past EM's or just FTW's of course the thing to remember is that I am sure that gifts are not part of the contract so it is truly up to Disney what they do. But if you're just interested in purchasing the watches then you may find "nicer" (just MHO) at Downtown Disney in the World of Disney store.

We got the AP's with our contract and the watche's on our wedding day. We never received the Tote Bag - no biggie after all the gifts are at their discretion and I was happy with our 2 pressies. Thanks again to FTW!!
