Folks - I"m less than 12 hours from leaving and suitcase is getting full! Wondering if I"ll need a sweater in the restaurants - do they keep the air conditioning high!? I'm taking a sweatshirt for nights, but we are going to Cali Grill and Boma for special dinners and the sweatshirt just wont go with the summer dresses I've got :) What do you think - pack the sweater?? Thanks, Jo

I wouldn't. It's been pretty darn hot lately, we're going to reach the 90s this weekend, and the restaurants aren't that cold.

Maybe if you have a very light zip or button sweater, that would be better.

Hi. Happy trip:tongue: We have 12 days until ours:sunny:
I always pack a light weight sweater because I seem to get cold in A/C especially if the air is blowing straight on me.
Have a great time:wave:

My husband says I'm the only person he knows that carries a sweatshirt to Florida in the middle of August and uses it.

Always take a sweater or sweatshirt, those restaurants can be cold -- they feel even colder after coming in from the heat.

I always bring a light sweater for dinners. The A/C tends to be a bit cool for me. But I am a native Floridian, so anything under 75 is chilly! :sunny:

I agree with the sweater. Last time we went in the summer I forgot to bring a sweater and I was cold every time we sat down to eat.

I sure don't need one in Florida in May. The ice cold A/C feels pretty doggone good after a few hours in the heat and humidity. I don't ever remember even remotely thinking I was cold.

We just got back from 10 days and not once did we use a sweatshirt or sweater...we didn't even wear our capris just ended up in shorts.

We ate at many restaurants and my dd is always cold but not once the whole trip now that I think about it did she say I'm cold.

If worse comes to worse and you are chilly it might be a good reason to buy yourself a cute Disney Sweatshirt or jacket?!;)

It's difficult to think anyone could be cold in the heat/humidity that is Central Fla. this time of year. I agree that you could leave your sweater at home. If it turns out you do get chilled, buy a light sweater or long sleeved tee to warm up(it will come in handy when you get back home too):D
