Saturday morning and it was time to pack. This is a hard thing to do, especially since we really enjoyed our site this trip. We had planned a 10:30 PS over at Boma, to end our WDW stay with extra pleasant memories, so that helped get sleepy DH and DS up and at 'em. We got packed up and headed over to AK. We waited only a few minutes and were seated. We all love the Fru-unch juice at the Boma Breakfast. DS was into pastry this morning, and DH and I had omelets. After eating, we drove to DTD. DS was looking for a CD at Virgin, and DH and I wnet to World of Disney to look for shirts, etc. I was crushed to find out that the Minnie shirt I wanted wasn't available in my size. Yuck! I should know better than to hold out for 10%. DH found a nice Grumpy golf shirt, and I did buy a Tinkerbelle tank top (to use in August), and then our last FL stop was the Belz outlet. DH bought t-shirts for his fellow social studies teachers' young children, and I found a few more things. There was a rack of the old GOH badges for $2, but of course they didn't have "Don." He lost his on the February "My extravagant birthday trip."
So favorites memories--the Backstage tour at AK, Don's personal Hidden Mickey, getting evacuated from Splash Mt, the incredible flowers at Epcot, and IllumiNations from America. Also food from Morocco (DH says not his favorite).
Next trip report (hopefully) in August. I took extensive notes last year and never posted the August venture!
