HELP! We are trying to get the most "bang for our buck" in our upcoming trip in November. We just joined the Disney Club, are AAA members and are thinking about annual passes (we can't stay away for very long!) I am also considering taking a job at the Disney Store at the local mall to get my Disney "fix" until our trip and to make some extra cash. Do Disney Store employees get big discounts too?

Which discount would be best for park tickets and our rooms at the Animal Kingdom Lodge???

Disney Store CM's can't take vacations in November! So, at least that eliminates one of your choices...

As far as I know AAA offers the same discounts as DC. 11/04/01 - 12/20/01 is Value Season for AKL so your DC discount would be 20% off rack rates. As far as the AP discounts go, they typically release them about 2 months in advance (sometimes as much as 45% off) so it's a little early to be looking for them. ~ :) ~

We have The Disney Club, annual passes, DVC, AAA, and American Express. Whenever we are not using our DCV points, we find the most discounts with our AP. In fact, this weekend we could have had the Coronado Springs for $104.35, a Contemporary wing room for approx $165 and a Grand Floridian room for $225. All including tax and all with an AP discount.

Remember, only one of your pary needs to have an AP to get the discount. Also, use your Disney Club to get a better AP rate.

Thanks for your help! I think we're going to go for the AP... and we'll definitely use our DC discount!

There haven't been any AP discounts in November and December for the past few years....your best bet will be the AAA or DC. Check with AAA as soon as possible because there rates for this month may very well be sold out by now...I think I've still seen discounts at the Contemporary and Institute listed on their site.
