Disney world is going to open up a park in the State of Delaware. It is going to be called Disney's America. The park will break ground today and be opened by the end of next year. It will be bigger than any of their parks in Florida and have twice as many resorts. The park will have no rides it will only have books. If you want to expeirience something you sit down and read about it. There will also be people available there who can read you the books.

It will be a very exciting park. I can't wait.

Early reviews had one volunteer get a little motion sickness when he read about mission space.

So over the holidays people in the northeast won't have to fly that far to enjoy Disney magic, and it would take some of the load off the Florida and California parks. If the Delaware park works out, more may be established, for example in Hawaii (take some of the load off of the beaches) and Alaska (Anchorage to Orlando is an awfully long ride cooped up in coach).

On the other hand, electronic Disney parks did not seem to have caught on. There were Disney Quests in various locations in the U.S. (Chicago? Philadelphia?) and all of them except the original in WDW have closed. Is the rumor that the DQ at WDW might close dead now?

The Disney Quest in Philadelphia never got past the large hole in the ground stage.

Master Grayson,

Sorry. It is just my secret wish that Disney would be so much closer to my home. I guess I have to joke about it, but I have actually had dreams that Disney was in my area and I could take a short drive over. I live in New York and many of my friends drive to Florida, but I can't see myself driving that far. I only wish it would be as close as Delaware. Oh well.

Disney is incorporated in the state of Delaware so perhaps the new park is a tax thing. But wouldn't the park actually take over the entire state of Delaware?!

The park will have no rides it will only have books. This is a giveaway that it's fake. A Disney park without Meet and Greets or an Arcade!
