Ok we are staying at Boardwalk Inns in October. I was curious what the fast form of transportationw ould be to get to MK? We won't have a car of our own so we are using Disnet transportation. WOuld a bus be faster or would going to the monirail at EPcot be faster(is there a monorail from epcot to MK?) We will have UPH tix.

There is a monorail from Epcot to the Magic Kingdom, but the Boardwalk is at the far end of Epcot. You'd have to walk to Epcot, then walk the entire length of the park to get to the Monorail - and Epcot is big! I haven't timed it, but it's probably faster to take the bus.

I would take the bus in this case. The bus stop is very close to the Boardwalk Inn. The walk through Epcot would take a long time, and usually there is a wait for the monorails.
The buses are fast, and will get you there much quicker!::MickeyMo

we always stay at the BC and we always go to epcot and then take the monorail.
as far as being at the boardwalk .. if you don't want to walk that extra around the lake you can just take the boat which shuttles you right across.
we just think it's a lot less putzy then taking the bus and making a bunch of stops :)

From my experience the BW is the last stop for pickups, so there are no stops until MK. Plus the bus drops you off pretty close to the gate. With the monorail from Epcot you would have to switch at the TTC.
We have found it is quicker on the return to get off at the Swan and walk to BW. And when it is crowded after closing they sometimes run seperate buses to S/D, and usually take those instead of BW buses.
