Hi, I'm probably asking a stupid question, but what is Mission Space going to be. When i first heard of it i thought it was going to be something that shoots a "ship" up like 300 feet and was similar to hypersonic xlc. Now i'm hearing its some kind of g force simulator. Can somebody fill me in? Thanks.

Mission: Space will be a trip to the International Space training center. It will include a e-ticket attraction that will simulate actual space flight from launch to weightlessness to rentry and landing. The theory is that the ride vehicles will use a motion simulator on a centrifuge to create those sensations however the ride part of the building has been covered from guest view so that no one can see and security is top secret. The post attraction exhibits are supposed to be some of the best and most interactive ever created.

Shark, there is a countdown clock for Mission:Space in Innoventions. If my math is right, it is counting down to April 1, 2003. That's aparently the goal. Some speculate that the long development time may be a safeguard against another Test Track debacle. So, perhaps it could be earlier.
