AP discounts at the BW 2 bedroom villas?

Has anyone ever gotten an AP discount for the 2 bedroom villas at BW. We are planning a trip sometime between October and January, so I'm especially interested in the discount during this timeframe.

Before we purchased DVC at the Boardwalk several years ago, I made reservations at BW with an AP discount for a July stay. I wanted a 2 bedroom unit (even had it already reserved) but CRO said they never give AP discounts on the 2 bedroom units. So, she booked two 1 bedroom units with the AP discount. Since a 2 bedroom unit at the Boardwalk is a 1 bedroom and studio combined, I would guess this has something to do with it. Don't know if this is the case all the time, but this is what I was told back in '97.

Hi Grotto,

You need to go over to the DVC boards and
look into renting points from a DVC member.
It can be a cheaper way to get the 2 bedroom
that you want. Good luck.
