Dec airfare question

Hello Everyone,

I am planning a trip to WDW December 6-10. I have never flown in Dec before so I do not know what airfare is like. Right now Delta wants $177.50(total) from NY-Orlando. Now... I am a delta skymiles member and if I book through the website I receive 5000 miles, but if between now and my trip the price drops....I do not get a voucher.

So my question is... Will the price go down??? Should I book my travel via the phone...this way I receive a voucher if the price drops-Or should I just use the website and take the miles.

why wouldn't you get a voucher if the price drops? I did. I bought on the internet and got the 5000 bonus miles and an infant tkt and then when the price went down I got the voucher. (on DL from PIT into MLB airport) there is an 800 nbr specially associated with teh websight and this is what I called and they repriced my itinerary and it priced lower than what I had it and they gave me the voucher. it was for 50...never got to use it and it expired......

Thanks Beverly Lynn. I was told by a Delta agent early Tuesday morning that I would not be able to recieve a voucher if I purchased via the internet. Since then I have had a conversation with another Delta agent who told me I would be able to receive a voucher.
