We will be going to WDW the third/fourth week in October, 2004. It is our first visit ( Yeah!!!) I heard that Sept is quiet but how about on Sat- Mon mid October??? the 23rd thru 26. One of those days includes the not so scary Halloween party. Did I pick a good time to go? Dh HATES crowds Am I in trouble?

I don't know how to make a cool countdown thing like ya'll... but I have 156 days before our Fl Vacation!:earsgirl:

I don't know about the crowds at that time but I'm also hoping they aren't too bad. The Food & Wine Fest is going at Epcot and also MNSSHP. Maybe someone who has been at that time will post their experiences!! :teeth:

Here's the link to getting your countdown:

Welcome to the boards. We went last year from 10/16 - 10/23 and had a wonderful time (of course!). Crowd levels were somewhat higher than normal because of the tail end of Disney's fairly tale package (FTP; I think it was 7 nights for price of 4). We did MNSSHP on Sunday because from what I heard crowd levels are lower on weeknights compared to weekends (ie., Fri). MNSSHP crowd levels were very manageable early on and wait times never exceeded more than 15 mins at most, and near the end of the night, rides were walk-on. As mentioned Food & Wine Festival is going on at EPCOT, so crowd levels were somewhat higher there too; but again nothing too noticeable. Temps were in mid-upper 80's. You'll have a wonderful time !!!!

Ah, a fellow Virginian!!!:teeth: We are going in September. The last couple of time we went it was during the summer (July and August), and it was fairly crowded. I have heard that October is nice and not too overly packed. Have a great time!!!
