What a depressing sight when we opened the window and saw Port Canaveral. Was it over already? We finished packing our day bags then headed to breakfast for the last time. We said goodbye to everyone and starting walking off the ship. Luggage Pickup and Customs were a breeze and we were back at the car by 9:30.

We got to the Airport by 10:30 where I said goodbye to Rachel and headed in. Once again check in was a breeze and I was at the Disney store there buying last minute gifts by 10:45. Flight left on time at 1:15 and was a smooth flight to Atlanta where I had a layover. Made my way though the Atlanta airport and had lunch at Chili's there. Flight was delayed coming in and then with the weather over the Midwest we were almost an hour late departing (that and catering hadn't shown up!)

They rerouted us past the worst part of the storm and they ended up not rerouting us as far south as they originally thought. It was a bit bumpy so we didn't get our drinks and lighthouse shaped pretzels until over 3/4 the way there. We flew over my city where I easily found my Wal-Mart- Never too far away from that place. We ended up landing only 45 minutes late (25 minutes before they had expected us) luggage was never posted but we figured out where it was pretty easily.. and I was home by 9:30. What a long day.

We'll be on the Wonder in August and love reading trip reports from other cruisers. Thanks for sharing.

I really enjoyed your reports, I liked the titles too! I hope I get to try Serenity Bay on Castaway sometime. This time I had to be at family beach with my DD12 (too old for kid's club) and next cruise is out of Long Beach (new adventures instead)
