This is our first trip to the world and even though we have some PS for dinner inside the world, we were wondering about the restaurants outside the world. We are renting a car and would like something moderately priced and not a chain restaurant, preferably American food. Any suggestions? Thank you. :sunny:

You might want to post this question on the restaurant board. :)

In nearby Celebration, there are 2 spots I can recommend--Cafe D'Antonio (Italian) and Celebration Town Tavern (American).

Hi,
wishing you a magical time on your first visit from a 30 year lover of Disney and the area.
One of our favorite stops is for seafood at Shell's. Not sure if that is "American" but we love it. Moderate prices, very informal.
It is 7 miles east of Disney on 192. Green sign on the left. Great informal setting for seafood and good cold beer. All the salted in the shell peanuts you can eat!!!
Enjoy..Ted

I have been to Cafe D'Antonio at Celebration also, it was wonderful. For something cheaper and fun, try Cafe Tu Tu Tango on International Drive....it is a Tapas Restaurant, funky, good food, fun.
