Stroller rental question...

I know I read about this on here but I am too technologically challenged to use the search function...

When you rent a stroller at WDW is it possible to
1)park hop with the rental? For example, if we rent a stroller in the morning at MK and then hop over to Epcot for the evening, do we have to pay to rent another stroller at Epcot?
2)rent a stroller for the length of our stay? Can we just pay for the entire week's rental all at once and save us the trouble of having to rent a stroller each day?

My DSIL hasn't been able to find a nice, inexpensive stroller for her 5 y/o for our trip so she was asking about stroller rentals for our upcoming visit. TIA:D

If you rent a stroller in one park you can't take that stroller out of the park (each park has their own stroller design), but as long as you hold onto your reciept you are able to get a new stoller in the next park.

So if you start out in Magic Kingdom in the morning and then head over to Epcot you would just have to show the rental cast member your reciept and you will get a stroller.

Yes, you pay once per day $8.00 for a rental stroller. Save the receipt and present it at each park you visit that day for a new stroller.

There was a trial run on length of stay park rentals but there was no price discount and it has been discountinued. www.allearsnet.com has a great stroller faq section as well as travling with preschoolers.

There are also a few baby rental places in orlando that will rent a stroller by the week. www.abbf.com is the one my sil used. They have the pictures and prices of the items available on the website.

IMHO your probably better renting at the parks as needed, she may only need a stroller at night or in the larger parks. You probably won't need one at the resort or water parks so it may not be worth having to lug it on an off the bus, trami, boat etc.
