Time to think about making a PS for the evening we're there. Want to have a decent sit down meal before the fireworks but don't really know the best eating spots as we've always just had a hot dog or similar.
Not looking to spend a fortune (!!) but any recommendations for a reasonable meal at MK?
Thanks
Stuart
PS - I remember seeing some menus (on this site?) but can't find any now. Any hints or tips appreciated.

Hi there! I would try Tony's Town Square Restaurant. It is not as expensive as Cinderella's Royal Table & it's right on Main Street so you are in prime position for the fireworks after. If you have younger kids with you, what about the Crystal Palace also on Main Street? This is a one-price buffet with Winnie-the -Pooh and Friends. It's a lot of fun. sorry I don't have the exact prices, but I bet they're on this website under dining.
Hope this helps.
(By the way, I think all sit-down meals in the Magic Kingdom are on the pricey side. Sorry!)

Hi Stuart. Take a look at the Plaza Restaurant - turn right at the end of Main Street as though heading towards Tomorrowland. It's a bit of a hidden treasure, with some great sandwiches and salads, and the most delicious milkshakes. I had the tuna sandwich with potato salad and cookies and cream shake - both very nice.
Prices aren't too bad, and the food is all pretty good, but you'd be advised to make a priority seating as the place isn't huge. Apologies for the off-site link, but there is a menu at http://allearsnet.com/menu/menu_pr.htm

HI There
I would think crystal palace would be a good bet, as when you have finished you will be in front of the castle for fireworks, our 6th trip coming up and we always eat at crystal palace, need to priority seat though. Hope you have a great time

Crystal Palace is excellent! The food was lovely and wasnt that expensive! Cinderellas Royal Table is good too, but can be expensive! It is a must though!!!
