Has anyone stayed at Windsor Palms? I'm considering renting there. What are the amenities like? How far is it from the parks? Any infor would be greatly appreciated.

We rented a 3 bdrm villa with private pool in Oct. 2002. It was wonderful. Everything was very clean and in new condition. Great price too.
I believe it is about 4 miles to the Disney gates. In October there was little traffic, so it took us no time at all.

We have stayed at the Windsor Palms twice - once in a condo, once in a house. We LOVE it there. It's a beautiful neighborhood and very close to Disney - about 3-4 miles away. We're staying there again in October. When you rent a house, you have your own pool in the backyard and my kids LOVE that!

We had a 3 bedroom condo there in February. Great place!

We rented a 3-bedroom condo in November. It was wonderful. Very spacious, quiet area, nice community pool. Clubhouse with small store, exercise room, pool table, ping pong, video rentals. Only takes about 10 minutes to drive to the Disney parks.

Great place to stay.

Do you mind me asking how much you got it for and what type of home it was? Also, how did you rent it being out-of-state?

We rented a 3-bedroom for $90/nite which we split 50-50 with my MIL so it was a great deal for both of us. The owners were in Connecticut. I mailed them a check and they e-mailed all the info. No problem at all.

Stayed there last Christmas and am going back to the same place in October. I loved it. Very clean and everything we needed. Unbelievable what was in there, everything down to trash bags-although I understand this is not always the norm. The owners were staying at a house across from us, they own 5, and were very helpful to us.
