Hi,
If I check our car seat at the airport, does it have to be in a special bag or anything? How do you normally do this?
Thanks,
Linda

Some people like to have their own bag, but I've never needed one; we just brought the seat to the counter at check in, and they have big, clear, heavy plastic bags that seal closed. Just put the seat in, add some luggage tags from the counter, and they seal it, put the check sticker right on the bag, and off it goes.
We've never had a problem.

I bought a car seat carry bag at Babies R Us several years ago and love it. It's made of heavy gauge plastic with really rugged zippers. Our car seats come back looking the same as when we put them on the plane. They don't get battered or bruised in the plane. Another perk to this is that their is extra room in the bag, where the child would sit is empty, and you can put extras like diapers, wipes, blankets what ever you need that's hard to pack. This last trip we fit a high back booster and a seat booster both into the bag with room for the tray from the stroller. I reccomend it highly. If I remember correctly it cost around $20.
