Yes I'm in week 2 of phase 1 of SBD. I'm doing great! Lost 10 pounds - ya I have to get that clippie thing going- and walked into the local supermarket. I have to past the fruit section before I get to the deli to order my Thin and Trim roast beef. There they are for all to see the FIRST supply of cherries in New Hampshire. Not dark and soft but deep pink and firm. I knew I couldn't buy them or I'd eat them all. No fruit on Phase1
When I was 9 and visiting my grandmother in MA she knew I liked them so much but she couldn't afford to buy them for me so she said it would be ok if we tried just one to make sure they were OK. So we each took one. I thought of her today when I grabbed one cherry and popped it into my mouth. It was sweet and lovely and I was chewing it when I realized I had no place to put that PIT! Alas the florist was away from her cart and her box of dead flowers was there waiting for that pesky pit. I deposited it and kept going. I felt bad but my mouth sure was satisfied. I bought my roast beef, my cheese and left. There was no cherry police on my tail, I'll be good for the rest of phase 1 and may bring a shopping buddy with me next time.
