Just back from first trip to FW...

How was the bus situation? Did you do the campfire program? Is there anything that you wished you had brought?

I thought the bus situation was just fine i think i had one 30min wait but everything else was under 10 minutes.

I did do the campfire program but did not stay for the movie as it was George of the Jungle. I enjoyed the campfire and was amazed at how uncrowded it was for a Saturday night.

I wished that I had brought an air mattress that didnt leak:rolleyes: but also the tent i had was a bit tight for getting dressed in the mornings. We were only there from Thursday evening till Monday morning but I wished I had had more towels. They simply do not dry overnight.

As it was my first trip to FW and my first time tent camping in 10+ years we over packed to begin with. I was amazed at how clean the comfort stations were and also how safe we felt. The only bad thing was that the ice machine at our comfort station was not working so i wound up drinking warm soda the whole trip.

Eeyorefanatic, Wasn't FW just the neatest??? DS and I had such a good time in our dome tent. I will definately be going back. Hope you read my trip reports from last Spring Break. I am looking forward to reading yours!

I'm sorry that I missed you too. I had my green ribbon on every time I went to the campfire singalong or the pool (on my beach bag). Oh well!
