I was reading mousesavers.com and under Grand gatherings it listed an option of a Magical Fireworks Voyage. Can anyone tell me if this is available to everyone, or just registered groups of 8 or more?
My two and four year old Peter Pan fanatics would love this!!!
Thanks,
- Joe
Magical Fireworks Voyage
This dessert party is hosted by Captain Hook and Smee and is followed by a cruise of the Seven Seas Lagoon to view the fireworks and Electrical Water Pageant. The evening concludes with a telling of the Peter Pan story, and Peter Pan greets your group upon return. The Magical Fireworks Voyage experience is available seasonally on Mondays and Saturdays on the Seven Seas Lagoon near the Magic Kingdom, at a cost of $29.99 for guests ages 10 and older, and $14.99 for guests ages 3-9.

I called to see if I can book the cruise with 5 and was not allowed to . Just groups 8 or more qualify for the magical gatherings. I guess it is not so magical with only a party of 5:( :( :( :(

Bummer -
We've got 3 who want to go on June 15,16 or 17 2004. Anyone interested in joining us and making a group of 8?

Join up with another family from the DIS. I posted I was looking for another group and got numerous replies and now have one booked with a fellow DISer.
Just keep in mind you have to share your info in order to set yourselves up as a Grand Gathering.
From what I read about this cruise I think it will be worth the little bit of work. :)

Our total group is 4 rooms...16 people. Only 8 of us are interested in the fireworks voyage. Does everyone in the party have to book?

I doubt it. You just need 8 people to book it.

Just wanted to let you know I called today to get information about this and they said that 80% of your party needs to be staying in a WDW resort.
So, if you have some staying offsite, you could still book it.

We booked it last year for ten of us. You are required to pay for the entire bill in advance, as we did on our credit card
On the day - no cruise. MG had made a "scheduling mistake" and everyone we called was of no help to us. Each person said that a manager would be calling us back - but they never did.
All of our dealings with magical gatherings were a total bust. They were happy to take alot of money from us, but never organized enough to fulfill their side of the obligations.
The best answer we kept getting was "the guy you booked with doesn't work here anymore. He booked it all wrong in the system and he has since been fired"
We had booked and paid for fireworks cruise, epcot storytellers, and AK safari. The storyteller thing went off ok, despite us being given bad information about the time and place to show up. The cruise and safari were both actual disasters - with ten of us standing there and no event and no one to help us.
It didn't help us on our disaster vacation to hear that.
If you book with MG, stay on top of them like a hawk!!!
