Labor Day Weekend

Hello,

Can you tell me how Labor Day weekend is? And for the week of Labor Day how are the crowds...I have gone a few years back after the 6th and it was ok but not "during" the weekend....how is it? Can you compare it to anyother time? I guess I am asking how BIG the crowds are during that time.

The week of Labor Day or actually I should say the week after the Monday holiday is fine. Very low crowds. We had absolutely no problem at all and rarely had to wait to get on any rides.

We were there for labor day (I think) but if I remember correctly we went to Universal so I can't speak on Disney. Universal wasn't bad Labor Day though so I can't imagine Disney would be too much different.

We are thinking of September 3-12 and were just curious on that weekend we get there how it is....I am sure it is not like MID JULY! ha ha! Thanks.....I think on Labor Day we would not do the MK anyway as it would most likely be swamped!

We're going 8/31 - 9/8 and our plan was to hit Epcot on Labor Day. Last yr when we were in WDW over Memorial Day, we went to Epcot and it worked out well, so I thought that we'd give it a try again on Labor Day.

I went last year over Labor Day with friends. They met a cousin there and wanted to go to MK on Labor Day....I told them to go for it but there was no way they were getting me in the MK on Labor Day. They said they didn't wait on a thing. So who knows!!

I think that is the best time of year to go!! AS you can see in my sig, that is when we go. There are no lines at all!! You can almost walk on anything. Longest wait is maybe 10-15 mins. I remember last trip at 230 pm at mgm, went to RnR, absolutely no wait at all!! You usually dont need PS reservations either, or they can be had the same day with no problem. I cant wait to get back there!! Good luck!

We were there two years ago and it was great!!! Going again this year.... The parks were not bad, but we get there early and break in the afternoon.

Do you think the new pkg 7 for 5 will effect the crowds during this time?

We were in WDW last year (at the end of September) and the 5 plus 2 package was going on then and the crowds were not bad....I just had not been in the last few years during Labor Day.....I think it'll be great.....positve thinking! :)

We were there during the FTP (Fairy Tale Package - 7 for 4) and used the FTP and did not notice an increase in crowds. We absolutely love September.
