I saw on another websight that the new EME was not a replacement for E-Ride nights. I hope this is right. This is my first visit to WDW and I am totally looking forward to the E-ride nights. I even made my plans around them so we could enjoy 2 (based on historical dates.)
Any additional information about when the June dates will come out would be greatly appreciated. There hasn't been a year for a long time that they weren't available in June. I hope this isn't the first.

Just wanted to point out that it doesn't look like they'll be doing the mixed EMH (before and after park hours) during July according to this schedule. On the trial schedule, Wednesdays are Park After Dark for the MK. The July e-ride schedule indicates several Wednesdays as e-ride nights. I would venture to say that those planning July vacations could plan on only early morning EMH, especially given the frequency of e-ride nights in July.

I called and spoke to a CM at 407-824-4321 and it is also posted on www.wdwinfo.com under the E-Ticket section (after the explanation of new EMH benefits).
I've never been able to find E-Ride Night info on www.disneyworld.com and currently the webmaster of www.Allearsnet.com is in California at the Disneyland press event.

Current E-Ticket Nights
E-Night Trial Period Planned for 2004
There's a special treat in store for guests staying at a onsite Disney resort from 5/9/04 to 5/22/04.
Plans are in the works for scheduling eight Extra Magic Hour Evenings. Guests staying at a Disney resort will be able to enjoy select attractions at the designated theme park for up to three hours after the park closes to the general public.
Wristbands will be given to guests producing a valid Key To The World Card. They will be distributed beginning three hours prior to the start of the the event. (Guests staying at the Swan/Dolphin or the Lake Buena Vista Hilton are eligible to participate. ) Guests staying at Shades of Green will be eligible for only the morning Extra Magic Hour.
Regular park admission will be required. Guests using single day passes cannot "hop" to the selected theme park offering the evening hours, but must have used their pass for that park on the day of the offer.
The Extra Magic Hour morning schedule will remain in place. The attractions open in the evening can vary from those running during the morning.
The schedule for the Extra Magic Hour Evenings is:
Sunday - Epcot
Tuesday - Disney-MGM Studios
Wednesday - Magic Kingdom
Thursday - Animal Kingdom
Fastpass will be available.

JULY E-RIDE NIGHT SCHEDULE:
E-Ride Nights at the Magic Kingdom will be held on the following dates in July: 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 26, 28, 30.
to confirm previous posters confirmation of e-nights.My question is can we call now and get tickets or do you buy them at the day of e-night. The link someone posted said to get them at the lobby of your hotel but can you get it if you are in the dolphin? if not where in the magic kingdom do you buy them and do you recommend buying them first thing the park opens? And as the previous post does that mean the park is open from 10 to 1am or what are they open till? Thanks

E- Night tickets are available at the front desk of your WDW Resort. To my knowlegde this is the only place you can purchase them. Last year we bought our ticket 2 days before E-Night at the CBR Front Desk. In the past I have also been able to buy them up to 4 days in advance but only at check-in.

So was I. I called guest services twice after reading this thread. The first time the CM told me there were no E-ride nights scheduled this year. She even checked with ??a supervisor / another CM. I waited an hour and called again. That CM told me that there WAS an E-ride night in May. It had just popped up on her system. Now I have to go revise the itinerary. Again! I'll take it though!:teeth:

You can only buy tickets at the front desk of your hotel. Only onsite hotel guests can participate (although I think this includes Swan/Dolphin). If the park closes at 10, you get to stay until 1 am.
Very strange to have 1 May date (and on the last day of May) and then none in June.....
Cinderella37
05-05-2004, 07:09 PM
There have been E-Ride Nights every summer since 1998, even when the park closes late. The other posters are correct - the park will stay open until 1:00 (the MK closes at 10:00 every night except for the 4th (12:00) and the 3rd (11:00). In past years when the MK was open until 11:00, the E-Ride Night went on until 2:00.
You can only buy the tickets at your resort upon arrival. You pick up a wrist band at the MK the night of the event. As for June E-Ride Nights, I'd keep calling. I can't imagine not having them in June.

I just got off the phone regarding June 2004 E-Ride Nights. The CM told me the dates for June were basically every M, W, and F. June 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, and 30.
In fact, I wanted to make sure the CM had her story straight so I called back right after and the 2nd CM told me the same information. No telling if it will change between now and then, but probably not.
Hope this helps all the June vacationers.

I am happy for all of you, but ticked off nonetheless.
Have been hounding WDW about E-ride nights for months. Will be there 5/21-5/31--checking out in the am. EMH test is going on before we get there. E-ride nights, which we really want, start after we leave. Time for more phone calls and e-mails.
For now, I'll just continue to be ticked off at WDW and their continued offerings of less for more money.
I hope y'all who are lucky enough to have E-ride nights enjoy the hell out of them--I would if I could.

Just called again, about something else, and was told again that the June E-Ride nights are as I mentioned above. At least they all have the same information. Hopefully it won't change between now and then.
Sorry to Doc. I know how frustrated you must be to miss out on something you want to do. The one thing I thought my son (2) would like is down for repairs during our visit. He is a little boy that loves to play with his sisters babies, as well as a lot of other toys too. But "It's a small world" would have been a big deal for him. I'm bummed.
Just goes to show you. You don't always get what you want, but sometimes you get what you need. Someone with talent should write a song like that.
Anyway, I hope this info helps some of you out there.:wave2:

I called this morning and was told the May 31 and July dates. She said that there were no June dates listed. Hmmm...hope the rest of you are right because we are going in June!
Another question: I know that you must use a day of park admission in order to get in to an e-ride night. Do you have to BE IN the park when it closes? We are planning to be in MK that morning but then leave for the afternoon/evening. I have an Illuminations cruise scheduled for June 28 and was thinking we could then go back to MK for e-ride night (if they have it). However, Im not sure we would be back at MK before they close at 10:00. Can we still get in?

Just got off the phone with WDTC asking about June E-nights. The CM ask me the dates of our visit (june 12-23) and said that during that time E-nights are scheduled for 14,16,18,21 & 23. She also said that the EE mornings will be on the old schedule (Sun - MK, Mon - AK, etc.) She said that if the new Evening Magic Hour test was successful, it would be implemented permenantly in the future, but not in June.
I hope she knows what she's talking about.

I called. (Friday, 7th @ 9:25 am EST) I was told no e-ride nights in June. July does have e-ride and the dates he gave me for our trip match up to dates I've seen on the DIS. Link -
http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/eticket.htm
I was told the extra hour test is only in May, no word on it continuing through June or July.
Don't know if I trust any of this info, I seemed to know more than the CM I was asking the questions to. Oh, well.
Note the DIS nor All Ears has any June e-ride nights listed. If they have been added like was referenced in one of the above posts it is very new news.

 I'm pretty sure we visited the Haunted Mansion on E-ride night last summer. Did they just take it off the list or has it been gone? Maybe my memory is not as good as I thought. I remember telling my daughter that it was extra creepy late at night. Is this a different list from last year?
PirateFan

I think they open either Haunted Mansion or Pirates for E Nights. Not both. Although, we were there one year and they were both open, but Big Thunder was closed.

05-08-2004, 09:27 AM
Let me see if I have this right. Allears.net states that the park will remain open 3 hours after its stated closing time for an E-ride night. So, on 6/07/04 the park is scheduled to close at 10:00PM, does this mean that the Eride night takes place between 10:00PM and 1:00AM?
PirateFan
05-08-2004, 09:36 AM
That is correct. Unless, of course, they change the park hours. Regardless, E Night is 3 hours. Usually when the hours are posted they don't shorten them. They sometimes lengthen due to the crowds. But with Disney, nothing is set in stone (except the sword).

Haunted Mansion?
I have seen it on most of the lists I have seen for this summer's E-tickets....so maybe the list you saw it was accidentally left off.

Why just pick one?? Pick two or three :teeth: There are 3 while we are there. I think we are hitting 2 of them.

I noticed it said select dining and merchandise locations would be open. Would we be able to stay in the park to shop and eat if we did not purchase the wristbands? I realize we couldn't go on the rides, but might use that time to shop. It seems like more attractions were listed to be operating under their EMH test program in May that they offer at no extra cost, and less are operating for the e-ride nights for which we do have to pay.

I called dining to check on a ps and thought I'd ask about e-ride night while I was on the phone.
I asked if I could purchase a ticket before the actual date of the e-ride night and I was told "no". Anyone know if this is correct?

You purchase your tickets at your resort, in the past we have gotten ours the day we check in.

Going twice sounds like a good plan, I'm thinking of going on Monday and then again on Friday.
