I have a Wishes Cruise on Sept 11th :boat: and there are two spaces available (a couple had to back out unexpectedly). This cruise departs from Grand Floridian at 8PM on Tues, Sept 11. The cost is $32.50 per person (includes tax & tip). It's a deluxe cruise (with audio) and there will be snacks onboard and we're having a big cake delivered.
Our group is made up of DIS-ers. Let me know if you're interested in joining us.

I just called the speciality cruise line and asked about the Pontoon boats. I was told they only hold 8???? Is there a change in the number of people allowed on the boat??? We are looking for March and I am trying to get all my ducks in order. Does anyone know of these changes? Thanks.

I don't know - A few days ago, I confirmed 2 cruises (illuminations & wishes) for next week - we're taking pontoons both times. I confirmed that we had 10 people for each cruise. They didn't mention that there were too many. :confused3
Anyway, have a great trip when you go and I'll report back if I learn anything.

At Wishes there are some smaller boats that only hold a maximum of 8, these are 20ft pontoons. All 5 pontoons at IllumiNations are 24ft, so they all hold a maximum of 10.

Does anyone have space for 2 adults on a Wishes cruise during the period 27November to 5 December. We are British but you will be able to mock our accents, and although we are chubby, we will make excellent flotation devices if our weight causes the boat to sink.;)

Hello All,
I was just able to book a Magic Kingdom Wishes Premium Cruise during the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on Sunday, October 14, 2007. I have 3 adults in my group and would like to share the cruise with up to 7 other people to split the cost of the boat rental. I was told by the CM who book the cruise that the fireworks are different for the Halloween party and that the cruise would leave at 8:30 pm for the 9:30 fireworks. Please send me a PM if you are interested in joining us for this cruise. The cost would be $27.50 per person.

I just wanted to let everyone know that we went on the new Breathless on Aug. 28. It was awesome!!!!! :thumbsup2
Right now Aaron is the only driver (he is training more drivers). He was wonderful. My dh sat up front with him and they talked and talked like they were old friends. My 2 daughters and I sat in the middle seat and it was a good fit for 3.
They claim the Breathless can hold 7, but it would be a tight squeeze if you ask me. You can comfortably get 1 other adult in the front and up to 3 people in the middle seat. Then the engine is in the back of that middle seat and there is another small seat in back, which I personally think would be ideal for a romantic couple.
They claim you could get 3 in the back seat, but unless they were tiny people, I think it would get uncomfortable.
Plus whoever sits in the way back cannot talk to or reach the others in the party (so no sharing snacks popcorn:: ).
The cost was $275 plus we tipped $50. It was an expensive treat, but to me, worth it for a one time thing.
The view of Illuminations was awesome!
If you have any questions, let me know.
Also, my dd15 is not home and I am incapable of posting pictures without her :rolleyes1 so I will try to post some later as we took tons!

We didn't try to bring anything, but I did overhear a conversation between the cm who organizes all the boats and another guest asking that question. The cm looked at his watch and said you have about 30 minutes and yes you can bring any other beverages onboard if you'd like.
The Breathless was less "formal" than the other boats I felt as Aaron is very down to earth and it is less people. I cannot see why you wouldn't be able to.
Have a great time!!!

Can anyone recommend a particular boat captain we could request for our Illuminations Cruise on Oct 18th?
I'm not sure if we can even ask for a certain cast member, but thought it would be fun to request someone who is particularly funny or good at sharing trivia and stories with the passengers, if that particular captain happens to be working the night of our cruise.
Thanks for any recommendations.

I'll try. OK, once you post your pictures in photobucket, keep that web browser open & have one open with the thread that you are going to post to. Now here are the steps:
1) Copy the "code" underneath your picture in photobucket with the direct link entry (.i.e. the second one down)
2) In your post, select the "insert image" icon (i.e. the mountain with the sun).
3) Paste the code you copied into the pop-up from the insert image

Hi -
Last night was our Illuminations cruise. I'd booked it 3 months ago after reading this thread. DH and I agree that so far the cruise has been the highlight of this trip.
We met up with a number of fellow DIS-ers who I'd met through this thread. What a great bunch! The weather was beautiful, not muggy or hot, not cold, a magical night.
Our captain was great; she was extremely informative all throughout the cruise which included a trip over to MGM and then on to Epcot. We'd brought a birthday cake onboard and she immediately gathered plates, forks, led the group in song and cut the cake. Then right before it began, she explained the story behind the Illuminations, act by act, which none of us had ever heard. It really made us appreciate it all the more.
The fireworks are all the more stunning because you're right at eye level with the water. Wow, you could feel the vibration of the fireworks shaking the water & our boat. It wasn't smoky at all. It was perfect.
We will definitely do it from now on every time we're down here - it was so worth the $$. Please if you get a chance to experience it - now or in the future, don't hesitate.
One note - tonight it poured for 2 hrs before Illuminations. I'm thankful we didn't booked tonight's cruise as I'm pretty sure it was canceled. That's the downside.
Tomorrow night (our 25th anniversary) we've booked a Wishes cruise. I will report back to let you know how it is. Unfortunately of the 8 DIS-ers joining us, 5 have had to back out for personal reasons, and they will be missed. If anyone knows anyone down here that's interested in a cruise, please PM me.
cheers

Yesterday I posted about the illuminations cruise we took on Sept 9th and how wonderful it was. Well today was our 25th anniversary and that's a really big milestone. I'd been planning this trip - especially this day -since May.
The day was clear and the sky was bright blue. All day i was looking forward to our biggest splurge of the trip, dinner at Narcoossee's and a celebration Wishes cruise. I'd planned everything as a surprise for DH. I ordered the premium cruise (with banners and balloons) along with a big cake made by Grand Floridian bakery. Everything was set for a most memorable evening.
Dinner was great; afterward we went down to the dock right by Narcoossee to wait for our boat (the marina and the dock aren't the same thing, as I was to learn). That's when it started to pour. The sky was black and the lightning began.
We ran over to the marina and were told that the cruise might be cancelled. :scared1: All I could think of was what's going to happen to the cake... DH started singing "McArthur Park" for those of you who remember that song.
Initially we were told that no decision would be made until 8pm. We stood in the rain for a while but then the decision was delayed until 8:30. I was told not to worry about the cake because the boat and the cake were at another resort... huh ??? We went inside to try to dry off and said we'd be back by 8:20. When we returned, the marina's office lights were off... not a good sign. I knocked on the door and there was someone still there who said "oh yeah, your cruise has been cancelled. Don't worry, you won't be charged." Yes but what about my cruise, what about my cake, what about all my plans for a perfect evening that I'd begun working on 3 months ago, and why was I dripping wet with nothing to do.
In the midst of all this, I'd lost track of my big Disney bag (with credit cards, room key, Annual Passes, DDE card, MNSSHP tickets, camera, cell phone etc etc) - i'd just left it and walked away when I first heard the cruise might be cancelled. :scared1: Eventually we discovered that a GF bellman found it outside and rescued it - thank god! This definitely wasn't the way I'd thought I'd been spending this evening.
The guys at the marina suggested I call WDW-PLAY (not again..) and book another celebration cruise. Easy for them to say, I really didn't want to jump on the phone and start the booking process all over again. But that's what I did. And they were wonderful; they arranged a cruise for tomorrow night, and the Grand Floridian bakery found my cake and said they'd bake another and deliver it tomorrow at the marina. Everyone laughed and commisserated with me about the weather and congratulated us many times about our anniversary.
My point is, this was a pretty big curve ball and yet with a few calls Disney put everything right again. What did we end up doing? As soon as the cruise was cancelled, it stopped raining. So we went and played mini golf at Fantasia Gardens and had dessert at Beaches & Cream. Not the way I'd imagined spending Sept 11th but not so bad either.
I doubt any of you will have such a combination of events happen with your cruises but if they do, you'll know that Disney will do its best to make things right.

In this one, you can see the back of the boat and the last row of seating (behind the engine). It would be romantic to sit back here, but you cannot interact with the driver or get snacks from this spot. popcorn::

Here you can see the whole boat. They claim you can get 2 people PLUS the driver up front, 3 in the middle and 2 in the back. I think it would be a tight squeeze to get 2 people with the driver. We had my dh sit next to driver Aaron and then myself and our 2 dd's (ages 15 & 11) sit in the middle seat. No one sat in the back on our ride.

CRUISE UPDATE - As of 8pm, GF's marina told me that tonight's Wishes cruise (make up for last night's anniversary cruise) has been cancelled due to dangerous lightning... again. :confused3 DH & I have decided that this just wasn't meant to be this time. We're going to book one in May. Hope this weather clears up soon so that everyone's cruises are as wonderful as our Illuminations cruise was on 9/9 ~ Enjoy!!

Question, are all pontoon boats equipped w/safety glasses for viewing IllumiNations? Or do you have to specify safety glasses upon checking in or should I bring along clear swimming goggles for my DD? We did the IllumiNations cruise back in January and bits of the fireworks were getting in her eyes. Wasn't an issue for me as I wear eyeglasses.

Bring your own safety equipment (glasses, earplugs, etc).
Sometimes the boats have safety glasses, but, I had heard that there was an issue (believe it or not) when glasses were available on the boat and guests not on a boat complained that they were not offered any sort of safety equipment.

I still have 5 spaces left on our cruise. This is a celebration cruise (decorations and snacks) with piped in audio for $300. Would split costs according to the number of people I am able to get. We are to meet at 7:15 at the Wilderness Lodge docks with departure at 7:30. At this point all 5 current passengers are adults (sort of I guess) and are looking to share this wonderful night with you and yours! I don't know if this is the going rate, but we gave the captain a $50 tip - which was only $5 pp extra - or a total for the cruise of $32.50 pp.

Don't be surprised if unforseen circumstances keep some people from making the cruise (we lost 5 people on one cruise and 3 on the other). If you find you have space or if you're still looking for a cruise, check with the marina (Yacht Club or the MK resorts). It can't hurt to try. Also don't forget to check DIS. And if you're the one who booked the cruise, might be a good idea to keep the names/contact info for any other people who were interested in your cruise.

Illuminations cruises are a fun and special way to view the Illuminations fireworks at Epcot. These cruises are very popular and require some advance planning in order to get a reservation.
You will tour seven seas lagoon prior to the beginning of Illuminations and be entertained, by your boat's pilot, with Disney trivia and views of the Boardwalk and other resorts, then you anchor beneath a bridge for an unobstructed view of the fireworks. One of the things we enjoyed the most about our Illuminations cruise was being able to just get off the boat and go to our car without fighting the huge crowd that was leaving Epcot afterwards......

"...tour seven seas lagoon"...That should be interesting since Seven Seas Lagoon is the lake in front of the Magic Kingdom...

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. We have been in CA (yes, visited Disneyland).
If one of the couples is willing to split up, you could do it. We had myself, dd15 and dd11 in the middle seat and we were very comfortable, so 3 adults would fit fine there. I would say only 1 adult would comfortably fit with the driver and you could get another couple in the back, but you wouldn't be able to talk to them or share snacks.
Yes, we did ride around a bit before Illuminations. We "zoomed" fast for a little while (I thought it would be longer) and then we just went slow to see the sites of MGM and the area hotels.

Well, I hope your first typo was Sept 7th which was over 3 weeks ago.
Since you most likely mean Oct 7th.......
Easiest way is to walk thru the International Gateway (between UK and France) and walk to Bayside marina, just past the Yacht & Beach Club.
The Friendship Boat at Epcot would take longer and its a short walk.
Once you leave Epcot, go straight past the Yacht & Beach Club, past the Lighthouse Dock, and just look to the left for a small, free-standing building marked as "Bayside Marina"
Don't get there much before 8pm. At 8pm, the window will open where you check in and finalize payment on your cruise, you will meet your driver and you will most likely depart between 8:15 and 8:30
OH, if you have a car parked at Epcot, the driver can drop you off at the Epcot International Gateway Dock after IllumiNations, if you are taking Disney Transportation, you can request being dropped off at MGM Studios to catch a bus.

Hello,
The Wishes cruises all dock to the left as you walk out towards the transportation boat docks. They are the same slips as the rental boats. Depending on where your cruise boat originates from, you may or may not see the decorated boat as you walk by. The CR only provides one boat per night, although other resorts send boats over for cruise pickups. The CR boat is usally docked on the left side as the dock extends, while the other resort boats fill in any open slips, and could be up close or all the way at the end of the rental dock, depending on space. Hopefully this makes sense.
Have fun,
Bill

We did a Wishes cruise on Christmas night last year. It was awesome and I would highly recommend it!
We left from the GF marina and went with another family of 3 we met here on the dis. We had "met" before booking and decided to do this together and just have our 2 families, even though the boat can fit 10 (and it can comfortably) and we'd split the cost down the middle.
So at the 90 day window we both called frantically (us on 2 cells and a house phone and them the same I believe). We originally wanted Illuminations first, but agreed we'd take Wishes if we couldn't get that. Well, by the time we got through (like 2 min. after opening), NOTHING was open anymore, so I hoped they got through.
We emailed that morning and they indeed did get through and booked a Wishes cruise. So they paid for it and we paid them cash. We both tipped the driver ourselves and I believe we each gave him $50 for a total of $100 because we agreed it sucked he had to work on Christmas night and thought that would be thoughtful.
We met about 1 hour before Wishes began (I think it was 9 or 9:30pm that night) and we got to know each other while we had a short wait to leave.
We left and boated around a bit. We were able to see the Electric Light parade on 7 Seas Lagoon before finding our spot for Wishes. It was the Christmas version of Wishes and it was AWESOME!!! :thumbsup2
It was quite chilly on the water that night and we had brought coats and blankets and the boat driver also had blankets for us. We were glad as it was still cold, but bearable (us 2 families were from WI and MI, so take that into account :goodvibes ).
The boat was equipped with sound and a cooler with coke products and bottled water as well as snacks. We had all just eaten HUGE Christmas dinners before the cruise (us at 1900 Park Fare) and so we weren't hungry at all, but the driver did allow us to take the snacks with us when we left, so we split them up and took them along.
It was the holiday version of Wishes, so it wasn't the regular song or fireworks, but it was beautiful and quite special!!!
Since then we've also done an Illuminations cruise on the new Breathless II (pictures a few pages back). That was just on Aug. 28. That was also SO COOL. :cool1:
These cruises are indeed very expensive, but imho, worthwhile for a special occasion or splurge.

For the cruises I typically take a jacket - but then again we go to Disney in the fall. I understand it can be smokey at times from Illuminations - but do not see how the wishes one could get a bunch of smoke - but doesn't mean that is an absolute. If memory serves it is about 1.5 hours from pick up to drop off and the timing depends on what time the fireworks are that night. We are doing a wishes cruise this year on 11/14 from the Wilderness lodge (Still have room for 5) and have done them in the past. To us it is well worth the bird's eye view and the ambiance and disney staff and NO crowds makes it a 'gotta do' for us. We don't have to scope out our seats in the park and then try to defend them for 2 hours while waiting - just get on the boat - have nice personal attention from the captain, go to the front of MK and munch out on snacks and sit back and watch/hear it all unfold - AMAZING!! Hope this helps.

Please feel free to pm me or email me at smithhefler@hughes.net or simply reply to this post! Have a magical day!

Okay, I am planning on calling to reserve the Wishes cruise and I am also seeking other Diser's to share the cruise with.
A couple of thoughts here, first off the cost is like $545 for the cruise, plus tip for the driver. The boat will hold 10, which should make for a great NYE celebration, and if the cost was split between everyone that would make it about $60 per person ($55 tip). This is the premium cruise which includes the audio track and decorations from what I understand.
In order to get this cruise, the reservation has to be made on 10/03 and they can be hard to get. As stated above I am calling to try and make a reservation, but started thinking that if there was a way to get the other parties included ahead of time then there would be a better chance of getting the cruise for everyone. I will need 4 spots (2 adults and 2 children DD11 and DS15).
I have participated in a cruise with other Diser's and it was a blast. On that trip I sent the one who made the reservation a money order for my share of the cruise and that worked out great. The same could be done here with the understanding that a cancellation could only be made with 30 days notice in order to receive a refund. This is a fair way so that everyone can enjoy their trip without the worry of any added expenses if someone doesn’t show up. This would also allow others to join if space becomes available.
So what do you think, anyone want to jump on board with me?

My husband and I are still looking to join a nice family or couple(s) on a cruise of some kind either October 25th or 26th. Please let us know if you have any room for the two of us. We are down there celebrating one last vacation/anniversary (which is actually today) before we have our first baby in January! We are willing to split the cost and would love to see the sites from the water!

I guess. This is the information that I researched from the Dis website. Although it didn't say it, I would bet that this includes party favors and the like. These are the same items that are provided to guests at the parks and feel that they would be included in any NYE celebration at Disney. Of course, like anything there will be a premium to pay, look at the cost to get into Pleasure Island $99, of course the time span is longer.
Still feel that it is a deal. No crowds (for the midnight event), being at Walt Disney World and celebrating NYE with your family and a FEW Dis friends! PRICELESS:cool1:

Heres the story----we MAY and we MAY not have 10 people for our WISHES cruise---and we will NOT know UNTIL it is the day of the cruise:confused3 --- It is a surprise Birthday cruise-- and 8 of the people WILL be at WDW and in the rooms at the Contemporary,,when we need to go down. to the dock :woohoo: ..the 2 other people are going to try and make it (they are local too),,but may not be able to---
Soooooooo I did not want to say I had spots open and plan to meet some one and then find out for sure all 10 were coming--didnt seem fair to me!

NOW I was thinking if the 2 do not make it:sad1: I was going to look for a couple,,,maybe waiting for a boat over to FW or some where--or maybe just strolling along enjoying the night -and see if they wanted to join us---and not ask for any money---I figured, we will be going with room for two more WHY NOT fill it up---and you can not just assume they would have money for their share--I can not find myself saying HI WOULD YA LIKE TO JOIN OUR CRUISE--that will be 60 bucks:lmao:
My friend says--just go and have more room----:sad2:
I think this would be a nice way to spread some PIXIE DUST pixiedust: on someone that may not be able to do a cruise--I AM PAYING THE $300.00 for the 8 or the 10 any way,,
I KNOW you great people on the DIS speak your mind and would tell me the truth-:scared: ----am I crazy????

Aren't we all just a bit crazy? I mean, that's why we're here anyway.
But, I think its sweet and a great way to share the magic. How nice of you!
That's one reason why I like hanging out on these boards, and at WDW, it seems like the people who all love Disney (and those who love DIS, especially of course :rolleyes1 ) have really good hearts. (A little crazy in the head, but really good hearts... and the latter is really so much more important... and the former just keeps it interesting.)
Good for you!

I asked this over on the dining plan board and haven't gotten any responses, so I figured I'd ask here.
Does anyone know if dining plan credits can be used for private dining for a cruise? I'm going to try to get a Wishes cruise for DS's birthday in January and would like to have food on board, but we're going to be on the deluxe dining plan and I don't really want to pay OOP for food knowing that we have a bajillion meal credits to use over the length of our stay. I know that I can use the credits for in-room private dining, but can I use them for shipboard private dining?

I have two cruises booked for NYE atm, Fantasy in the Sky leaving at 11pm from Contemporary Marina and Epcot fireworks (not sure if it's illuminations or something special for NYE) leaving from Yacht Club at 7pm. We are staying Club level so concierge has booked them both for us as they couldn't meet our original request for Epcot midnight fireworks.
Looking for someone to share MK cruise. We will probably be releasing the Epcot boat later if we can rearrange our ADRs slightly.
There will be dh and I with our three children dd15, ds13 and dd11, so 5 spaces free. We are looking for someone with similar age children preferably and adults who will be happy to join us toasting the New Year with a bottle of champagne.
I am also posting this on another board I visit so first come first served
** 3 spaces now taken - 2 still available**

The cruise is $545 and we would be looking to split the cost by the number of people.

Just curious as to how much people tip and do you need to tip for the breathless cruise.
Mine is $275.00 on Oct 20th. Tipping sure adds a lot!
I had read someone earlier (a while back) where they posted their cruise was only $250.00 (not sure if it was a typo or if when they go to Disney it was really $275.00)

I assume you are speaking of Breathless II....
Seating is as follows:
1 - Guest Next to Driver
3 - Guests across the center
2 (maybe 3) - Guests across that rear seat (but it would be very tight squeeze for 3 adults).

You need to call 407-939-7529 exactly 90 days before the date you want to reserve. You can determine when to call by using the DIS's priority seating calculator if you CLICK HERE (http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/pscalc/dispscalc.html)
Since these cruises are so much in demand, start calling about 6:55 am est. If you get a recording that they are not open yet, disconnect and immediately hit redial. If you get the recording thanking you for calling hit #3 right away, as soon as the second recording begins press #2, when the third recording begins press either your reservation number or phone number and finish with the pound sign. Then press #1, then #2. This will take you to a reservationist, if you have to hold do not disconnect or you go to the bottom of the queue.
When the reservationist answers do not make small talk, immediately tell him/her that you want to reserve the 8PM specialty cruise for such and such date.Do not ask to reserve an Illuminations cruise or you will waste time hearing that there is no such thing. After you get your reservation you can talk all you want, but these cruises are very difficult to reserve and seconds count when thousands of people are competing for only 5 boats.
When the reservationist indicates that you have obtained the reservation, tell him/her that you want to see Illuminations. He/she will then make arrangements for your cruise to depart the marina about 1/2 hour before Illuminations begins.
You will be told that they cannot guarantee that you will see Illuminations. They tell you this because, if Illuminations is delayed for any reason, your boat will still return to the marina at the end of your hour. So far, there have been no known instances where Illuminations was not seen.

Does anyone know if you follow the same "path" as stated above for the WISHES cruises too? We've been on one, but it was reserved by my sister. I'd like to book one for my inlaws. They are going in February and I wanted it to be suprise for their anniversary. I doned it on a specific date so it's imperative, I have right "Path" to press the correct buttons to get to the reservationist. I'd like them to be picked up from O'hana's. Is that possible? They have ADR's that night...
Thanks!!!

I made my Wishes cruise reservation by following these directions to the T. There wasn't even a question from the CM or a pause when I said I wanted a Specialty Cruise for Wishes. As a matter of fact, she may have even asked me, "Illuminations or Wishes?" Don't know about picking up at O'Hana's...perhaps someone else will know. We are having dinner at the Contemporary and being picked up at that marina.
Good luck!

Stacie - I started calling at 6:55 a.m. on the morning I needed to reserve a Wishes cruise and got right in at 7 a.m. (I got a recording about the business hours before then). I told the CM that I wanted to reserve a Wishes cruise for 12/12/07 and that was it. No problems at all. I let her know that I wanted to leave from Ohana's as we have dinner reservations there also, and the type boat and decorations that I wanted. She was very friendly and helpful. If you call the 407-wdw-play number, they'll figure out the exact date that you need to call (90 days ahead of time). Good luck with your cruise and vacation.

Hi All -
Going to WDW in December for DS's 7th birthday. I originally wanted an Illuminations cruise for his birthday, but they were all sold out and we got a Wishes cruise instead. My question is should I keep trying for the Illuminations or is the Wishes show better? We've never done a cruise before, so I have no idea what I am getting into! LOL
Help!
Thanks!

Any chance that someone needs 2 more for a Wishes cruise on New Year's Eve? Maybe another night from 12/26-30? DD and I are going that week and we have a dinner ADR at Ohana's for NYE and, unfortunately, it just occurred to me that it would have been a nice thing for after dinner. I haven't tried for my own ressie yet. I will tomorrow if no one is interested but I imagine that it will be all booked. Please PM if anything is possible. Thanks! PS DD is 23.:santa:

I've seen it at the castle and from the boat. You don't get the to see the full length of the castle, but it was was enough for me! We had the music piped in and it was just sooo awesome. It's a different view than from being right there under it, and just seemed very awe-inspiring... FANTASTIC!

I have reserved an Illuminations Cruise for Monday, December 10. There is currently room for eight more people to join me. It will be fun to share this experience with other Disney fans.
The total cost for the whole boatload is $275, so divided among ten people, that is $27.50 per person.
(Beyond that, tipping the boat driver is at your discretion.)
Please PM me to arrange to send me your payment of $27.50 per person to save your spot(s). I will ask you to pay me in advance, because I am getting billed for the whole group.
Looking forward to sharing the Illuminations cruise with some of you!

Breathless is going to be a new experience for me. I wasn't even planning on going to WDW this year, but some friends of mine had rented a house offsite, and asked me to call and book them some ADRs and the Breathless for them, and in exchange I could stay with them free of charge! How can I pass that up, even staying offsite (which I hate to do, but hey, can't have everything)?
So, you're doing actual Christmas? I've done that twice, and I know you'll be able to handle it! Plan, plan, plan.

Crazy Hakim or anyone with this knowledge,
I know that the boat captain will drop you off at the MGM boat dock after the specialty cruise if you ask (or so I've heard). Will there be any problem doing that with the Breathless? And will they do that even if MGM is closed by that time? And is it safe to leave your car parked in the lot when the park is closed? Any problem with getting out, or having your car towed?

Not a problem having Breathless drop you off at any of the docks (Epcot, MGM, Boardwalk, Swan) but the dock has to be open. That would mean only 1-hour after MGM closes. The problem, the last Friendship boat that leaves MGM turns off all of the dock lights when they leave. Also, the trams and the busses stop running. So as long as your within the 1-hour after closing you'll be OK, just tell the driver after IllumiNations ends.

Thanks, Mike. I guess it won't work, then...MGM closes at 7pm the night we're taking the Breathless. Guess we'll have to hoof it out the front gate with the masses.

Anyone have room for 4 (2 adults and DS5 and DS6)? November 25 through November 30? We'd love to join in on a fireworks cruise! Thanks.

We are hoping to surprise my boyfriend's parents with a Wishes Cruise on December 10th. If anyone has room for the four of us we would really appreciate it. We went once before, and had a great time, thanks to this board. It was an amazing experience and we would love to share it with his parents.
Thanks.

I just wanted to let everyone know that DF and I have booked a Deluxe Wishes Cruise at 7:30 on January 8, 2008. The cruise will include snacks and drinks, boat and captain. The music from Wishes will also be piped into the boat. So far there are 4 people going. We have space for 4 more if anyone is interested. The cost should total out to about $45 per person. PM me if you are interested!!!
