Just tried to book an Illuminations cruise for New Year's Eve. We have some friends travelling with us this year and we wanted a "special" event for New Year's eve. By the time I got through 7:03am to the cast member, all of the boats were booked, but that's not where I have the beef....

After being told there were no more Illuminations boats left, I inquired about the Wishes cruises, to find that there was, in fact a boat left. I booked it. And then asked of the price. $575 for a cruise on NYE. UNREAL..... These cruises are barely worth the price at the $275 that they are now charging. But $575??? Needless to say, I cancelled the cruise I had booked 30 seconds earlier.

Where does it end????????

Yes, Breathless II is supplied with a driver, just like the pontoon boats too.
Breathless can hold 6 guests, usually, 1 next to driver, 3 in middle cockpit, and 2 in rumble seat area.

Ok, I tried calling Disney multiple times but they can't give me a consistent answer. Does anyone know where the fireworks cruises pick up from the wilderness lodge? Specifically the Grand 1 Yacht...but I imagine its the same for either. Looks like WL has a resort launch and another Marina. My guess is that they pick up from the marina that is on the East side of the resort but I'm doubting that based on Disney telling me that its where the Resort transports to the MK pick up

The rental boat marina is used for the regular fireworks pontoon boat pickups, but the transportation dock is used for Grand 1 pickups. Hope this clears things up. If you're still worried, call the GF marina the day of your cruise, and they can put you on with one of the Grand 1 staff who will confirm it for you.

We booked an Specialty Illuminations Cruise for April 7th. We are a family of five - me, dh, ds12, mil and fil. The 7th is my mil birthday. We are looking to share our cruise with 5 others.

We would meet at the Marina ouside the Yacht club at 8:00. Cruise leaves at 8:30. We will divide the cost and tip by the number of cruisers. If we get a full boat, it will be $36 per person.

Check in is at 8pm, that is correct, but most times the boat leaves around 8:10-8:20, 8:30 is a late departure. Make sure all your guests are there at 8pm.
