Is this still offered? My DH is thinking of making a PS and I can't find it listed in the restaurant database. If it is offered, how much is it and is it worth the money? Any thoughts appreciated!

I copied this from restaurant database.

The show is hostessed each evening by Auntie Wini, who has invited the whole neighborhood for a celebration to welcome home one of the local girls that has been away. I went when it was still called the Polynesian Luau but haven't gone since they changed the name. Not sure if they changed the show but from what I read maybe just a little bit.

I loved the luau and thought it was awesome. The fruity drinks are great. I don't know if they do this anymore but my olderst (before our other was born) went up on stage with all the other kids and the lady taught the hula.

We plan on going to the new show this year.

I never got to see the original show, but DH and I went to Spirit of Aloha last September. From what I understand, they've changed the show to make it more kid-friendly (including music from Lilo and Stitch, for example). The different dances are incorporated mainly into the storyline, as I remember, but they have a section just featuring the dances of different islands. I would say that was our favorite part. The 'Auntie Wini' story part wasn't entirely our cup of tea.
The food was quite good (especially the bread!), and there is a lot of it. The show overall was good, although from what I've heard I would have preferred to see the original. I would go again just to see the dancing, I think.
