:p

Since I found the $49 All-Star rate at Mousesavers, I've been planning an impromptu trip for my husband and I from September 26th - October 1st.

Here are the costs so far:

Room ASMu, 5 nights -- $274
Car National EA, Full Size -- $113.95 (using DC coupon and code)
Flight SW Airlines -- $142 (for *both* of us after redeeming the Hershey's gift certificates. Remember those?)

Total Cost for 2 before park tickets: $529.95

Can you BELIEVE that price? I credit it all to these boards. My husband thinks I'm amazing.

These boards are amazing. I too have had success in planning for our next trip. The only thing I am waiting for is comparable savings on the resorts for 2002 for AP and DC holders

WOW!! That is great! I have my Hersheys SWA certificates to use up as well and oh boy, I have to sit on my hands to keep from booking a trip. We have gone to WDW 3 times in the past 8 months and my DH thought I was amazing with the deals I got too! He'd smile from ear to ear when I told him the prices. Have a great time!

I love to read that others are saving money for a WDW trip. I also got a great deal for this summer. Room $49 at ASM. Delta direct flight from Newark $114.50. Packing snacks, juicy sips, PB&J, (will buy bread and milk in the food store), and breakfast cereals to save food $$$. I'm going for 10 days in August with my DD (age 25), 2 grandsons, 1 nephew, and 1 niece. It will be done for under $2,000.00. I made my PS arrangements, and I've started to plan the days. I'm consumed with only this.

Any time my fiancee talks about our trip he says "Emily got us an awesome deal on our hotel rooms by researching the resorts online... she's great!" We're staying in a $600 room for $300 a night at the Yacht Club, and everytime he says that to someone, I just glow with silent pride!!!

mousesavers rocks!

I wish we could get a "great deal" on airline tickets, ours are always about $250 each. It would help if SW flew there non stop, but alas they don't.
