Can anyone help me with any good MiniVan deals you may know of? Planning to go mid-July for 10 days. Thanks

I got a week's rental with Dollar for $209 using the FVG code. If that one isn't available, try KISS. I booked at their website.

I also just booked a minivan with Dollar for a week in October for $209. Be aware, however, this does not include taxes. With all the taxes (and a $40 charge because we will not be returning the car until after 11) the total comes to $311 and some change. I also used code FVG. This is also unlimited mileage. I haven't had much luck finding anything cheaper as yet. Any other suggestions? I've tried National, Dollar, Budget, and Hertz with all the codes I've found out on the DIS. We aren't going until October 3-10, so I have a lot of time to keep shopping around. I wanted to lock in this rate however, in case I couldn't find anything cheaper. If anyone knows of better prices, please let me know. Thanks! :)

I think it is very likely that Priceline can beat that rate. You have plenty of time to keep trying, so I would probably start at around $20/day.

I originally had a 7 day rental at Budget for $199.99 a week. The rate code was LY. With tax the total came to $250 and change. I extend my trip to 10 days and the new total went to $398.05 because they wanted $39.99 for each additional day. This rate is also good for convertible or SUV. I tried Priceline at $22.00 a day and it was rejected. We are going in May and I couldn't wait another week to try another price so I booked with Hotwire.com and got $26.65 per day for a total of $338.13 with Budget! I just tried to check the Hotwire site and it was not available since they are working on it. Since you have time, I would check with Priceline and try the Hotwire site later if you aren't successful. :)

my friend just had the coolest experience with a van down there. she had booked with national and when they arrived at the desk, there was a massive line. and this lady with a clip board asked them if they needed a car. she was from a local place whos counter was next to national. she got a van for cheaper than nationals full size, and no ressie! she said the car and survice were great!

Another disocunt site I have used is Hotwire.com. They give you your price but not the vendor until you pay. I had very good luck renting a car with them in Chicago. 15$/day including taxes. I also have gotten good airfare from them.

Hate to jump in - but I went to the Budget site, where do you type in the codes at? I am getting a terrible quote of $400+. Please tell me where to go in this website to get these deals. Thanks.

Just got an e-mail from Alamo saying that they are offering minivan rate of $199/week for American Express customers. You might want to call Alamo and check it out.

At the budget site, just click on reservations and fill in your info. At the bottom of the page there is a box for codes. Sorry I'm trying to tell you this from memory so I'm not 100% sure, but I think that's where it is.

I had reserved a van through Dollar at the 209.00 + 39.99 + taxes and fees, but after reading the priceline success stories I bid $24/day on a mini van and was accepted at Budget. This is for 8 days in June for a grand total of $247.??.
