Don't forget!

Beginning 10 am EDT tomorrow (4/30), each person who donates a minimum of $25 to the American Heart Association thru Reebok will be eligible for a free pair of Versasport DMX Max walking shoes while supplies last.

I got my reminder today too, mad4themouse. ::yes::
I wonder how hard it will be to get onto the site to make the donation and what the chances are that we will get shut out.

Well, whatever happens, happens. We always make a yearly donation to the Heart Association regardless. :)

Shoot! I just read that they will send you the SHOES. I thought perhaps it would be a coupon or voucher and that you would get the shoes at a store. I had wanted to go to a store to try on this shoe style to figure out what size I might need, but I had forgotten.
The terms and conditions say that you can return them for size, but you are responsible for shipping and handling.

Oops, I left the specific URL at home on the computer center--guess I won't be getting the chance at a pair!

ARGGGHHH! I cannot believe how slow the Reebok site is!!!!!!

I've been on for over 40 minutes, I'm still not finished and I'm using a cable connection!!!!!

If this weren't for such a good cause, I'd stop trying right now.

I'm glad I'm not the only one having trouble. I'm on cable, too:(

I'm at work - I'm on fiber optic high-speed cable for business - it's called Lightpath - and I can't get in! I've been trying since 10 on the nose.

I finally gave up.

After an hour of wasting my time, I got to the confirmation page where it said that my credit card was not approved????? Ummmm...I don't think so!

I hit the "back" button to redo it and then, after another wasted 10 minutes, it "lost" my "order" and the confirmation page came up with blanks, even for my name and address.

The AHA will get my donation but it won't be thru Reebok and my next pair of sneakers will be Rockports.

I think Reebok was unprepared for this, server-wise. Here it is, 1:15, I got in but it's stuck on the size page and it says they've only collected 2,500.00

Well, I tried from 10-10:35, then I gave up and went to Curves. When I got back at noon, I started trying again and I was able to get in although the site was (is?) moving like a snail on DSL.

But the good news (for me) was that I was able to make the donation, everything went through, and I ordered my shoes. I had another pair of Reeboks from a number of years ago, that I used to figure out my size. I hope that it will be pretty close.

Definately their server was not prepared for the volume of traffic today. But I would give it a another try if you weren't able to get in earlier.

They still have plenty of shoes left to give, at least as of 12:30 on April 30th.

I'm stuck on the page where it tells you that in 9-10 sec. it will refresh me to the site, it just keeps refreshing, and refreshing, etc.etc...

It took hours - no lie - to get beyond that point. When all was said and done and the order submitted, it crashed on me. I don't know if it went through or not - I won't know til I can check my statement and see the bank card transaction went through. Sigh!!!!

Do u think they will be able to give way all the shoes or do you think everyone will just give up? I have a cable modem and I'm "refreshing" I would hate to think what people with dial up are doing.

Here it is, 10:23pm EST, and they have given away 253,000 worth of shoes - and they're not stopping til they hit 1 million. So if you didn't try earlier, go for it.

Yes, keep trying. My mom, sister, and I just ordered some. It took about 30 minutes each on dial up.

The total is at $304,386.51.

This link was posted on the budget board (thanks, gctong!).

AHA-Reebok Donation (https://donate.americanheart.org/ecommerce/reebok/reebokproductpage.jsp?navAction=push&navCount=2&id=prod110008)

It runs much faster, although it still takes a few minutes to load. I was able to complete the process in 5 minutes this morning! They were up to $414,970.71 in shoes contributed and $148225 in donations as of 6:20 am EDT today.

Do they actually send you any kind of order confirmation if the order goes through? My husband tried yesterday and lost it at the submit page. Don't have an email or see a charge on our online bank statement yet.

So confusing! I did it, never saw the final confirmation. DH did it this morning, got in, got a final confirmation but no email. Mom did it from her house, got to the point before the final confirmation and it told her she had nothing in her cart, dumped her out and when she tried again it said she got them already. None of the three of us have an email confirmation.

I received my shoes today. They are very nice. I haven't tried them on yet. Hope they fit!
