When planning last July's trip (Apr. '03) I had read on these boards somewhere that the luau was $49.95 pp and that it wasn't worth it. Try a search of older threads back from the beginning of last year.

I will pass on this because the price tag will be $230.00 just for the meal.I forgot my wife's uncle is coming so that will bring it up to $280.00 WOW! I would rather go to Fultons Crab House in downtown Disney if im spending that much money.

If you split your party into 2 or maybe more checks you can save $100 with the 1/2 price certificates.

They all sold out within 35 minutes. The sale began at 9 am EDT. I has a feeling that they would go quickly. Some sites only had a dozen or so and none of them had more than 25 to begin with.
I don't know of any other sources for ½-price gift certificates for the luau. Sorry. They were a real bargain.
