I read that FL tours only accepts cash or travelers checks. Is it correct that the full payment (even for a round trip) is expected when you are picked-up are the airport? Not meaning to sound untrusting, but has anyone ever paid the roundtrip fare only to encounter problems later? Usually if you pay by credit card and you have problems, you can contact your credit card company to debate the fee. In this case, they would have already been paid. Am I being too apprehensive?

If Fl Tours wasn't a great and honest car service they would not be allowed be board sponsor. You are correct that they will collect fare in advance.I have paid round trip fare in advance many times with no problems.I hope this makes you a little less apprehensive.:wave2:

As you may have read in my post above, I didn't have the best experience with FL Tours. Since the problem occurred at the beginning when we arrived at the airport and FL Tours wasn't there, I felt apprehensive making the full payment in cash that day. However, all I could do was pay and hope that our return to the airport would go better. I also felt that I needed to give him the recommended tip of $10 because he might be our return driver (I had read on the DIS that often you get the same driver for both trips). I didn't want to risk making him unpleasant (as it was, he didn't speak a word as we drove from the airport to the hotel).
It seems most people have had positive experiences with FL Tours. I guess I was just the 1 in 100 that did not!
Have a great trip!
