AP passes question

Need to purchase our AP's for our trip in May. I am making my final plans etc, but does anyone know if there's somewhere we can purchase these at a discount. So far I've checked Disney site and AAA with no luck on discount AP's.

There is no universal discounting of APs. Discounted passes are offered to Florida Residents, and there is also a military discount through SOG.

APs cannot be purchased through any channels other than direct from WDW, and they do not discount to any other than the groups listed above.

There are no longer any discounts on AP's. You used to be able to get a discount with the Disney Club, but with that gone, there are no other discount alterantives -- even purchasing in advance won't save you $$$ over the gate price.

How does the military discount work? My son is in the military, so if he purchases our passes, can we get the discount or does the discount only apply to his pass?
