Things to do at AKL with kids?

We are trying to plan out our visit and were thinking of visiting AK and then eating at Boma that night. My question is, if we get done early at AK, is there enough to see at AKL to occupy my DD3 for an hour or two? She loves the zoo so I think she'll flip for this. But wondering if there is enough to see to occupy a reasonable amount of time either before or after dinner.

Yep! When we stayed here the kids didn't want to leave the resort. You can walk out to see the animals. Visit the flamingos out by the pool. If you are there during the nightly story, or night vision goggles, or animal quiz time you can join in. Also take time to talk to the CMs. They are great with the kids and have a wealth of info to talk about.
