Good news about Osborne Lights

I got this E-mail about the Light forr Christmas 04
Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights, at this time are to appear at
Disney's MGM Studios November 24,
2004 - January 2, 2005. Come see the angels, the trees, the twirling
carousels of lights, the
wreaths, the bells, the snowflakes, the toy soldiers, Santa and his
reindeer and all the magic of
the original display from Little Rock, Arkansas in a whole new setting
with five million lights and
lots of new surprises from the Osborne Family as they head to the Big
City!!

Any idea where in MGM they will be displayed ?

It will be on the newly renamed Big Ciy Street. The lights will cover the New York, Chicago, and San Francisco street facades as well as the buildings near Al's Toy Barn, the Stunt Show restrooms and a few others in the area.

I will miss the lights in the old neighborhood lot. It just worked so well there. Still, I am happy they are returnung and look forward toi seeing them in their new city setting in December.

I was at Epcot yesterday at the Flower and Garden Festival and noticed dates for Osborn in the upcoming events. I'm glad to see they're back as it was a tradition to go to Disney Studios on Thanksgiving Day, until last year. I'm just going to miss the lights on residential street. Several events for the rest of the year were listed, but Soap Opera Weekend was missing. Anyone know if its been nixed this year?

This is great news as im visiting this Dec.
It should be interesting to see how the new location compared to the old one.
I do have a question for those who may know, Did MGM have a fall off in attendance last Dec as compared to the year before????
To me the lights were a reason to make a extra visit!!!
